Fall Decor Haul & Decorating Our Dining Room for Fall 2023!!

- Come decorate with me for Fall 2023 with vintage inspired decor. As you know if you follow our channel, we collect vintage asian decor. We just buy what we like and we have accumulated a nice collection of pieces that I can use in this display. The Fall colors that are in the asian pieces we have work so well for the Autumn season we think. I am rearranging the shelves like I do with each season to rotate our collections and put them on display so we can enjoy them. So many people choose to leave their collections in a cabinet that you never see. We say take them out and decorate with them so you can enjoy them throughout the year. At the end of the day it is what you like that matters. Yes Jeff I love your grouping plan. The Austrian with the same and the Asian with the same. They just pop within their own separate theme. And the hanging fruit plates facing the fruit plates on both sides look just gorgeous! Fall is my favorite! But I still have Patriotic decor up because it’s 107 degrees in Dallas Ft Worth! I haven’t even looked at the Fall decor at Hobby Lobby because it’s too hot to shop for Fall. I understand that you have to be ahead of the seasons though! Thanks for inspiring Jeff & Angela.😊

Fun Haul & Decorating. The shelves are nicely done and the buffet display is elegant. China & porcelain pieces in all their shapes & sizes and uses are so much more enjoyable to look at and display than just a flat painting. I spent some money at JoAnn’s yesterday. Their Fall florals are 50% off. I’ve made 2 Fall large arrangements for my entry way. 😁🍁🍂🧡🤍 Janet

Love the haul so far. Last year, after Thanksgiving, I picked up over $1,000 in flowers for less than $100 at Hobby Lobby. They sold them for 90% off. Flowers originally sold for $15 per stem were marked down to $1.50. I love floral arrangements with one style and color of flower.

Your hedgehogs and bird plates from Hobby Lobby are so cute! Love your fall decorating so far - your shelves look so pretty. When we were antiquing up north this summer I saw my first Mud Men in person in a nice antique store. In the same antique store I saw an exquisite RS Prussia chocolate pot - it looked to be in perfect condition and the paint was still great and I loved the shape. But, it was $150 (although I'm sure it was worth it). Also in another antique store this summer I saw your antique clock (blue porcelain) that you picked up at an estate sale this summer. I think you said you paid less than $100 but they wanted $250 in the antique store (you got a good bargain). It is such a pretty Victorian clock. So while antiquing up north this summer I saw quite a few things that reminded me of Jeff from My Take on Home and Garden, LOL!

How do you find room for all the beautiful decor. Everything is so pretty. My favorite is the Austrian Vase. They are stunning. I love the hobby lobby bird plates mixed with the vintage plates.

Early nippon is not marked sometimes just a squiggle of a mark ....some say Nippon .....remember "Nippon" simply means Japan ! Thank You.....
