scaramouche boss theme is a masterpiece cause it tells a story of scaramouche and the way yu peng chen delivered it was a chef's kiss wildfire is a song that's making us hype and give goosebumps as we fight cocolia and defeat her and giving hope to bronya and the others both are great but these two are made by two different composers in a game that has different genre and its own set of music and it depends on one's own opinion whether they prefer scaramouche's boss theme or wildfire tho in my own opinion, i love genshin's music since it makes me imagine a fight between me and those bosses as wel as making my gaming experience in genshin more immersive while star rail is pretty new and listen to many of its ost and songs, I still prefer genshin's overall, maybe I would be more a fan of star rail's music as time passes but it can't top any of my favorites as of yet.
Sigh, another misunderstanding. Cocolia was not one of those maniacs who commit genocide just for the sake of it. She lose hope and preferred to obey the Stellaron hoping that it can fix everything. Even Himeko and the collective minds of previous guardians state that they won't judge Cocolia for abandoning all hope.
The examples chosen here are both fantastic pieces of music, and while I do think that Wildfire has a more immediate hype factor, I can get a lot more out of Scaramouches Boss theme by actively listening to it and appreciating the many layers of musical depth. It's a Beethoven level masterpiece.
Wildfire is great, but I often return to Genshin's music in general. Honkai music is dynamic, heroic and hype, but Genshin's music makes me feel soothing. I can feel a soul in Genshin's music.
Personally I find star rail to have a lot of good "chill and vibe" tracks. Belobog admin district, boulder town, the express, and the master control zone being some of the best IMO
I tend to remember genshins more cause honkais just doesn't stand out to me as much like in the cocallia fight I wasn't really understanding or finding her character interesting so I was hoping maybe they have a honkai rock theme about her character similar to genshin but it was more bout the MC which I don't mind but I still wish it did something similar. And the area and combat music are just average to me like each nation/area has unique combat music that fits in around is aesthetic star rail I just don't get that feeling
Not to be that guy, but for the confused lads, scara's theme in that moment says "novis natus" (newly born, born anew, born again, translations may differ) not "dominatus". Still the point gets through
I absolutely love songs with words- instrumentals are lovely but you rlly get the full goosebumps when the have lyrics 😤 also most genshin songs scare the crap outta u- ur just chilling then suddenly battle music plays 😂
The fight against Cocolia gave me Sonic Frontiers vibes and I adored it lmao, I always love when there’s rock music with lyrics during an epic final boss fight.
That cutscene went so freaking hard, my mind was blown first time I saw it, I wasn't really taking the game that seriously and then it decided to dial it up to 25.
genshin world is closer to fantasy setting, so the lyrics of its boss theme will often be niche languages (e.g. scaramouche and signora's themes are in latin, and azhdaha's theme is in ancient chinese that even chinese people can hardly understand), just to prevent you from understanding it right away, so they can create an otherworldly atmosphere while star rail's world is closer to a sci-fi setting, so the lyrics are meant to be easier to understand (english or modern chinese)
Honestly the tracks are equally as good. You can't really compare them and declare which one is better. Differnent purposes, different styles, different worlds. All Hoyo's music is a masterpiece and should be respected as such.
Although the latter was nice genshin Music Was really the one that usually hit me up,its not about my heroism, its about telling story about certain place or Character that can make you wondering "What happened?" "How." And why"
Isnt this the bird meme, where the point of the meme is even though both of the music is good, the one sung by the crow (trailblazer) is louder....so why is the comment section arguing over comparisons, both are good and both fit their respective scenario's
Scaramouches theme is my favourite in the entire game, that shit is epic, every time im listening to a song while playing genshin i turn off the song just to hear scaramouches theme, i never heard this song from hsr but its pretty good, it gives me metal gear revengeance vibes, all of the songs from that game are incredible

I think we can conclude one thing from the music of Genshin and Honkai Star Rail/Impact, Mihoyo makes some goddamn banger ass music
Honestly no matter what, I will always love Azhdaha's battle music. Something about it just makes it so catchy to me.
Well thats Typical Genshin music masterpiece, while all HSR music is give west vibe thats i most hate
@@Zkr7 Being Honest Wildfire, and most of ost at Hertha Space staion are good.
The rest, especially Space china are pretty boring to hear
@@sayki3002 Right
@youji5015always catchy my ass
Most boss songs were mid at best
Azdaha and andrius are the only ones worth mentioning
@@Mehieddin7 which one is better wildfire or dvalin's ost?
Genshin knows how to flesh out a boss' themes through music
HSR knows how to sell you on a scene
The Star rail music is just absolutely mind blowing.
Wildfire reminds me of like when an anime protag is about to beat up the final boss full of heroism and justice, while Scarmouche's theme, reminds me of like some sad betrayal
But i'd more prefer to Scaramouche boss theme
Same 🎉
I enjoy both 😐
My favorite in Genshin still is "Bane of Ambitions". It feels like you are actually fighting against this being that is much more powerful than you are.
Bane of Ambitions is one of my favs as well! Such an underrated OST, it really feels like the theme of eternity.
I love how Stelle is really getting into the song, while Lumine is giving the same look March does lol
Honkai Apho 2:
*SO ONE . IS ALLOWED . TO BE BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORRRRRNNNN*
Badass.
then slay that freaking *high note*

What does that even fuckin mean lol
@@saimyintmyat9373 makes 0 sense and edgey crap writen for the incels that can only play Honkai Impact if t hey put in a male character to self insert to lol

Polumnia Omnia is a pure masterpiece. I thank lord yu peng chen for his existence
Agreed
I hope HSR keeps having those moments like when the Trailblazer picks up the lance.
It felt like a real "End of Prologue" moment, as if the real game was just about to start.
Wildfire drop prefectly at when the Meteor fall is pure epic
Genshin boss make me feel the grand- ness of bosses, Starrail make me feel like the protagonist fighting against fate and destiny
Both themes are fire, I loooove Scaramouche’s battle OST BUT COCOLIA’S IS SOOOO GOOD TOO
scaramouche boss theme is a masterpiece cause it tells a story of scaramouche and the way yu peng chen delivered it was a chef's kiss
wildfire is a song that's making us hype and give goosebumps as we fight cocolia and defeat her and giving hope to bronya and the others
both are great but these two are made by two different composers in a game that has different genre and its own set of music and it depends on one's own opinion whether they prefer scaramouche's boss theme or wildfire
tho in my own opinion, i love genshin's music since it makes me imagine a fight between me and those bosses as wel as making my gaming experience in genshin more immersive while star rail is pretty new and listen to many of its ost and songs, I still prefer genshin's overall, maybe I would be more a fan of star rail's music as time passes but it can't top any of my favorites as of yet.
In Genshin you're fighting a broken person.
In HSR you're fighting a genocidal maniac.
That genocidal maniac is also broken. Cuz got controlled or some shit.
@@hdWWtchR Cocolia wasn't really evil, she just made some huge sacrifices to protect Belobog. She tried to follow both destruction and preservation.
@@desi-420 I didn't say she's evil, if anything she's just subconsciously controlled
Props to designer, cocolia fight was badass
the lyrics only come out when cocolia does the zongli meteor attack tho
Genshin gives me chills, Honkai gets me hyped. Love it
As someone who is never a fan of English songs, I prefer Genshin boss themes.
Chad scaramouche boss theme vs virgin cocolia boss theme/wildfire
Chad Scaramouch lol
Mommy issues bad written character. His OST is fire tho. But I mean... Wildfire is LITERALLY FIRE
@@silhouette9699 still better than honkshit dogshit wildfailure tho. Polumnia omnia>wildfailure
@@silhouette9699 still better writen than wildfire and cocolia tho. Polumnia omnia just slap harder than wildfire.

@@silhouette9699 bad written huh, easily one of best written char and out of nowhere you say the otherwise? oh okay LMAO
I can’t believe starrail released 7 months ago…
It feels like so much longer.
What I can see is while stelle fighting the boss, caelus on background support her with singing _wildfire_
Wildfire is great but scaramouche boss theme is just way more better
@@Arestwo515 azhdaha 2nd phase theme is superior to both in my opinion
I tend to remember genshins more cause honkais just doesn't stand out to me as much like in the cocallia fight I wasn't really understanding or finding her character interesting so I was hoping maybe they have a honkai rock theme about her character similar to genshin but it was more bout the MC which I don't mind but I still wish it did something similar. And the area and combat music are just average to me like each nation/area has unique combat music that fits in around is aesthetic star rail I just don't get that feeling
@@teddyisaliar271 if you mean starrail then fair but the game only in its first version so....
Not to be that guy, but for the confused lads, scara's theme in that moment says "novis natus" (newly born, born anew, born again, translations may differ) not "dominatus". Still the point gets through
There's a story in every Genshin music but in HSR you make that story. It's quite fitting.
I absolutely love songs with words- instrumentals are lovely but you rlly get the full goosebumps when the have lyrics 😤 also most genshin songs scare the crap outta u- ur just chilling then suddenly battle music plays 😂
Felt like I could conquer the world while fighting Cocolia
Wildfire still gives me chills to this day 🥶🥶🥶
Star Rail has that Metal Gear/DMC vibe with its music and I dig it
The fight against Cocolia gave me Sonic Frontiers vibes and I adored it lmao, I always love when there’s rock music with lyrics during an epic final boss fight.

Not really. Most of hsr fans don't want to be like genshin fandom, we just mind our own business and memes. Although not all thought just most.

That cutscene went so freaking hard, my mind was blown first time I saw it, I wasn't really taking the game that seriously and then it decided to dial it up to 25.
when I fought cocolia I was screaming from excitement it hits hard
Love how they ignored signora boss fight theme which has one of the most badass guitar themed soundtrack
The best song they made is still Fischl's battle theme Die Mittsommernacht-Fantasie
The true correct opinion
fr i miss that theme so bad
I thought I clicked a wrong video and that I'm listening to comparison of Genshin OST and Metal Gear Rising OST
Remembered the cocolia bossfight, shiver my ttimbers hearing the beat drop again
"You're tough, but it's never been about you!"
Oh, Arknights are on a different level xD
genshin world is closer to fantasy setting, so the lyrics of its boss theme will often be niche languages (e.g. scaramouche and signora's themes are in latin, and azhdaha's theme is in ancient chinese that even chinese people can hardly understand), just to prevent you from understanding it right away, so they can create an otherworldly atmosphere
while star rail's world is closer to a sci-fi setting, so the lyrics are meant to be easier to understand (english or modern chinese)
the raiden ult right at the music drop makes this video so satisfying to rewatch
the all consuming narwhal boss fight shadow phase theme from genshin made me ascend during the boss fight would reccomend
Honestly the tracks are equally as good. You can't really compare them and declare which one is better. Differnent purposes, different styles, different worlds. All Hoyo's music is a masterpiece and should be respected as such.
Although the latter was nice genshin Music Was really the one that usually hit me up,its not about my heroism, its about telling story about certain place or Character that can make you wondering
"What happened?" "How." And why"
HSR: Yes, we love MGRR
And then there is samudrartha....that song gave me chills everytime
Isnt this the bird meme, where the point of the meme is even though both of the music is good, the one sung by the crow (trailblazer) is louder....so why is the comment section arguing over comparisons, both are good and both fit their respective scenario's
I absolutely love wildfire but scara theme will always be my favorite boss theme
Wildfire honestly me new workout song
i like the addition of latin in genshin. honestly, latin is such an underrated language though. i love it.
I still prefer a complex, more classical song over your stereotypical rock, pop or whatever with vocals - it feels less cheap
Wildfire is so good but the one we have at the fight with doomsday beast is so goofy and upbeat at the same time lmao
Thanks for reminding me of that fire of a battle
that was an unintended pun
Scaramouches theme is my favourite in the entire game, that shit is epic, every time im listening to a song while playing genshin i turn off the song just to hear scaramouches theme, i never heard this song from hsr but its pretty good, it gives me metal gear revengeance vibes, all of the songs from that game are incredible
