- Onko tässä Suomen suurin kuusi? Metsälehti kävi yhdessä arboristi Tuomas Murdochin mittaamassa Sumiaisissa Pukaran kylällä kasvavan jättikuusen. ”Pukaran jätti” paljastui tilavuudeltaan todennäköisesti suurimmaksi koskaan Suomessa mitatuksi kuuseksi. Tämmöset täytyy rauhottaa ja muutenkin pieniä muutaman hehtaarin isoa puuta sisältäviä metsiä. 💚👍
Savonlinnan Punkaharjulla kasvava euroopanlehtikuusi kurkottaa latvansa reilun 47 metrin korkeuteen. Puun historia tunnetaan varsin tarkasti, sillä siitä on tehty istutuskortti syksyllä 1880. Se on Suomen pisin puu, mutta tilavuudeltaan vain noin kolmasosa mittaamanne kuusen tilavuudesta. Katsoin noita tilastoja.
Aika hyvin on lykännyt vartta niinkin nuoreksi puuksi.
Vimpelistä löytyy vähän pienempi , mutta ympärysmitta on kuitenkin 320 cm eli halkaisia on vähän yli metri .
Jokioisten Luodesuolta kaadoin joitakin vuosia sitten kuusen, jonka rinnakorkeus lpm oli metri paikkeilla. 90 cm "kankea" oli pitkästi...puun muotoluku f erinomainen. Kapeni vasta latvasta nopeasti haaroittuen kolmeen haaraan. Haarojen kuutiotilavuus oli yhteensä vain n. 0,65m3. Rungon tilavuus em. haarat mukaan lukien oli hiukan päälle 12 m3. Pituutta puulla 38,12 m.
Meidän pihassa oli kuusi, 36m pitkä noin 15m se oli 3 haaraine kaatosahaus halkaisia oli 125cm. Sitä kun laskeskeltiin niin puuta tuli noin 16m3. Kuusesta on vielä kanto jäljellä ja muutama 3m pölkky tyveltä
Mulla on mökin pihassa kuusi. Juurenniskoilta ympärysmitta 4metriä. Haaroittuu kolmen metrin korkeudesta neljäksi haaraksi. Kokonaispituus n.25 m. Oma arvio tilavuudesta n. 9-10 kiintoo.
Parikkkalan Mikkolannimellä Sähköyhtiö kaatoi ison kuusen muutamavuosi sitten, oli aivan talon vieressä. Katkaisukohdasta kuusi oli 90cm halkaisija, oli siinä pikkomista moottorisahalla.😊

That verse have the word "work" in it, what that means?

It means to build up and keep alive the once lost relationship between you and GOD.
I truly believe that none of you haven`t bother to start learning the BIBLE nor have any of you received the COMFORTER.

A wise soul, studies the BIBLE also not just read it. For we read a lot, yet understand little to none at all. It`s when we start studying - then the wisdom start taking place.
Mäntsälän Sääksjärvellä saattaa olla vielä isompi kuusi. Metsän omistaa metsäyhtymä Laukas Väänänen.
Siinä on ollut ravinteet kohillaan, ku kasvu keskittyny runkoon eikä oksiin.
Omasta pihasta kaadettiin talon rakennuksen jälkeen saman kokoluokaa kuusi, tosin ei ollut tuolleen haaroittunut ylhäältä. Harmittanut myöhemmin koska oli oli ihan hyvässä kunnossa. Ikää oli 119 vuotta kun laskettiin vuosirenkaat.
@@jseven8941 Jep. Tämä hyväkuntoisuus paljastui kaadon jälkeen. Lähinnä pelotti että jos ei kunnossa ja tulee talon päälle kovalla myrskyllä. Näitä isompia puita koitan kovasti säästellä. Pihapiiristä löytyy kyllä suuria lehtikuusia, tammia, koivuja ja vaahteroita joten mikään yltiöpäinen vanhojen puiden kaataja en ole, päinvastoin.
Paljonko tuossa oli tyvessä halkaisija tai ympärysmitta?
On kyllä melkoinen jätti.

Jyväskylässä. Jääskelän tilan maalla kasvaa ihan järkyttävän iso kuusi. Kannattaa käydä mittaamassa.
Kiinnostaisi tuon puun ikä, paljonkohan voisi olla?
Puun iästä ei ole tarkkaa tietoa, koska sitä ei ilkeäisi ruveta ikäkairalla tutkimaan. Omistajan kertomuksen mukaan puu suojeltiin 1960-luvulla, jolloin sen tilavuudeksi arvioitiin tai mitattiin kahdeksan kuutiota.
Oli meillä takapihalla kyllä suurempi kuusi, kävivät kaatamassa
