I installed Beta 4 from public Beta 1 and must say performance feels MUCH better on my iPhone 12. Everything seems more responsive, fluid and apps seem to open faster as well! Super happy with this new beta! It’s minimally warmer than it was on the stable build and a bit warmer than on public beta 1. But that’s fully acceptable for me, looking at how good performance is now!
I do hope they will bring back the previous look from iOS 17 of Home in Control Center... You cannot scroll through all of the inputs (lights, scenes, etc.) but you are limited to whatever the phone is suggesting. Very annoying :(

I've got iOS 18 beta 4, watchOS 11 beta 4, and am installing macOS Sequoia beta 4. a little disappointed iPhone mirroring isn't currently working with Voiceover but maybe it's not meant to.

Mine stay blurry unless it’s viewed in a different app or in edit mode. It’s been this way since the first ios18. I heard it only effects users like me who use JPEG not HEIF.

Also yesterday when it stopped doing that, a new bug appeared: app switching and app selection happened instantly, not showing the smooth animation we all are used to. I actually kinda liked it, was faster. I turned off my phone and that issues was resolved, although im back to the dimming issue again. Oh well, it is a beta and is a small nuisance.

Has apple removed the extended wallpaper feature because it is fairly annoying when trying to set a wallpaper it would be very cool if apple removed it or at least add a option to disable it completely
Can someone explain to me how it works and how to read it? The device Aaron shows has 48% battery and, as he said, it consists of 2:30 hours of SoT and 3:48 hours of the screen off. Was 52% of the battery used up in 6:18?!?

I have major issues with the display light. When I lock the phone, the brightness drops to 0%, so when I press the button, I can't see anything. Additionally, there's a problem with activating the display by touch: it doesn't work, so I had to enable the always-on display option.

Hey Aaron. I am running the iOS 18 BETA. When I got luged in to my 2016 Chevrolet Z71, CarPlay is missing a bunch of icons. News, Maps, Messages, Calendar and much more. If I put an address in my phone using maps, it will then come up. Any ideas on settings?
Also something added to us regular user not using the pro iPhones the flash animations is not available for us I currently use the 15 plus before I did not have it cause it was meant for the pro versions but now we have it thought its something I want use to notice arun. Love your frequent update videos 👍🏾
Beta 4 has a serious problem with the network and connection, it completely breaks the coverage every minute, I noticed the intensity especially on 5G and LTE
@@zollotech I did it several times, it is possible that this problem occurs in Europe, at first I thought it was my operator's fault, but having other devices in the same network I did not notice this problem and it appeared exactly after the beta4 update 😔

Is the storage bug resolved? I had to downgrade to 17.6 due to the reason that my 512 GB iPhone 15 Pro Max only had 26 GB left storage had over 200 GB used.
Curious to see how Apple's updates, especially the iCloud section in settings and RCS messaging, will enhance user experience. Looking forward to learning about the performance and issues once the public beta 2 is out.

Great video as always, Aaron. *Finally* they fixed the battery drain on the watch!! OMG it was terrible on iOS 18 betas 1, 2, 3 and 3.5. My setup is 14 PM and Gen 8 45mm. I would now recommend iOS 18 beta 4 as a daily driver. As far as the icons, I have them in dark mode right now but I guess it depends upon the wallpaper.
I actually have seen those pop-ups, especially when uploading a story on Instagram and I close the app before it finish uploading and I get a notification on the lock screen saying something is uploading
I really wish that Apple would release a accessibility Regarding the keyboard to be able to change the colour of the keyboard and maybe the height of the fonts on the keys would be amazing for somebody who is visually impaired like myself. I have a condition called acute macular neuro retinitis and a lot of. people with macular diseases prefer a yellow background with black writing. This would be a massive help, I know there are third party keyboards out there, but to be honest, they're not very good at all. Please excuse my bad grammar and spelling as I'm using voice dictation.

Personally i think that light mode suits the best in most thumbnails. It just feels more clear of what you're showing and what the video is about

just go to accessibility and display and turn off your auto brightness i am also having same problem

Yes me too. Especially when moving! 10 seconds intervals where my phone loses signal completely.

Beta 4 haptic doesn’t seem to be stable, stops on it own till I restart, the hotspot too won’t come on, what I’ve noticed to far
