I don’t believe my funeral would be important. Respect and love can be shown during life. A funeral is just a tradition not a must.
My grandmother died of cancer, and right before she died she said. Don't get me flowers when I'm dead, i dont want them, get me them while im alive. That shit hits Hard and I live by it.

What decent man misses his father's funeral?. I don't love Tate, but I don't hate him. Never mind his so-called misogyny, missing your fathers funeral on purpose is worse than whatever his views are on women. He promotes the empowerment of men, traditional, strong-bodied and minded masculine men who provide and protect their families. Honestly, going and standing as a man at one's fathers funeral is the ultimate pillar of masculinity. Saying a proper, final goodbye to the man who helped create you and instill in you values for life, and celebrating the life and achievers of that man. I'm sorry, but that is beyond belief. Sure you're financially stable for the moment, but there will come a time where you will deeply regret that decision.

So I don’t get what he means he has to prioritize his finances over his dads funeral. It’s not like he was poor, he was rich already. So him saying he needs to focus on money while he was already rich instead of coming to his dads funeral just says to me he just didn’t want to sound bad on the internet for choosing money over his family and that’s sad truth. Naw he's foul for that. Not surprised really. He's openly talked about having contempt for his father being a broke alcoholic and cheating on his mom, which led to a divorce.
