To any and all, thinking about going, but I’m confused about each in the complex. If you stay at Lindo or maya is it the same night life walk through jayDMZ, just showed.? What about the Grand section access part of complex and vice versa, not sure which to stay at ? Thanks
Last time I was there was 2013. The coffee shop in the corner was the crepe and ice cream shop. That was always our first stop. Looks like they've moved a bunch of stuff around. Can't wait to go back.
The food and drinks in the little shops are all include. Activities like Lazer Tag aren't. You'd pay a small fee for that. Not exactly sure what the fee is though.
I’m not sure if I missed it, but is there a nightclub? Is there a dancing, and if , which part of the complex? Are there shows? One for family and one for the adult only section, what type themes? You seem to have the pulse of the place. Your videos are great, a bit more steady when moving and panning around though. Thanks
Yes there is. The club is called Club Galaxy and it can be seen here - czcams.com/video/5sKPV3i5uj4/video.html On the night that I shot this the club was shut down for an hour or so for Laser Tag night. However, after this and for all other nights it's a night club. During the earlier parts of the evening it's for families. As the nights go on I believe it slowly starts turning into an adult club. As for the shows - each night at the Lindo there is a show. If you go here, you'll see where the shows take place - czcams.com/video/VnMrd98k4c0/video.html Again, like Club Galaxy the shows during the earlier part of the evening are more child oriented. As the night progresses, they become more adult themed (PG - 13 / R rating).
Did you have to wear long pants at the specialty restaurants did they have waitresses on the beach taking orders for drinks all right thanks enjoyed your videos
we wore long pants as a formality but they seemed laid back about it all. I probably didn't have to but we typically dress up when we go out anyway. Occasionally people would roam the beach and ask people for drinks as well which is nice!
I was wondering do you know if they have activates or shows after 10 pm ? I seen some family resorts that don't have anything to do for kids that like to to stay up past 10 pm
There are nightclubs and bars you can attend past 10. You can grab food at the buffet as well. Not a lot else though. Pools close by 6 or so and the beach is off limits by sundown if I recall correctly.
@@JaysDMC 6 ?? Do most resort pools close at 6 ? That's kinda strange I would think it would be alot later considering it's so hot in Mexico. I never been to Mexico but when we go to Florida we normally would go to Disney parks and come back to our hotel pools that would close around 11 pm . So 6 sounds really early to me 🤷♀️

At that time, we head back to the room, shower and dress and get ready for dinner and nightlife. We usually see the staff cleaning and tending to the pools, getting them ready for the next day.
First time to lindos next year for wife's 50th birthday, going 1st 2 weeks August, you have sold it to us lol, could you advise which junior suite we want which is near the pools and beach and a high floor? Great vids by the way
So as I mentioned in the video, this was our 2nd time here and by sheer coincidence we got the same room we had during our first visit. Our room as pretty much in the dead center of the campus - equidistant from the entrance and beach. We were in the blue building on the 2nd floor facing the lazy river. As for rooms closer to the beach, I haven't had the pleasure of staying in one - YET. I plan on returning again one day. Perhaps I'll use it as an opportunity to try a new suite and location. Happy you're going - you're going to LOVE IT!
@@chrisnorthway6055 Yes, there is a wide variety of room types. For this resort, I've only been in the same room, twice! And that was by sheer coincidence. However, as we walked the grounds we saw many different rooms. Some with balcony layouts, some with swim-up style access, some with hot tubs... They are very accommodating here.
Do the Lindo and the Maya share the same pools / buffets / restaurants? I heard it’s the same resort just one has elevators and the other does not? I’m scared I booked the Maya and it isn’t the same place :(
Yep, the maya has an exclusive bar, exclusive restaurants and breakfast buffet, nicer rooms, and exclusive “quiet pools” located in certain buildings. Everything else is shared

@@JaysDMC Wow. I have stayed at four different resorts the past six years. Dreams and one adult's only in Jamaica, but this looks like a fun, summer camp for all ages like atmosphere. Planning a "We got our Covid shots" party with as many family members that want to join in later in the year or early next year. Your videos are fun to watch while I'm on the treadmill and it snows outside.
