I'm a retired U.S. military person. I was stationed in Okinawa for 6 years, and went to the mainland many times. VERY expensive! But, ther was so many things I thought were very clever and smartly done there. I now, live, full-time, in the Philippines, so I know about BOTH cultures!
thank you for appreciating our country... proud Filipino here.... mahal ko kayo friend... ingat po
most Filipino food is intended to be eaten with rice, that is why the dishes on their own are seasoned strongly. The rice balance or softens the strong flavors.
Tip: if the dish is too salty/sour/sweet/spicy, just add more rice on your spoon to water down the strong flavor.
100% True
I’d like to hear Yui sing “Ikaw” in both Japanese and Tagalog. She’s so lovable, very considerate not to hurt/offend someone else’s feelings.
You’re such lovely couple ! Stay safe and healthy to both of you! Love from the Philippines! 🇵🇭❤️🇯🇵
Aww.. thank you so much po🥲🧡
@@aliyuiclubfilipinojapanese7675 I have so much fun watching you guys!! God bless you both! 😘🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭❤️🇯🇵🇯🇵🇯🇵
Watching from Philippines ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
That Video/Blog of Mana was a "REVERSE PSYCHOLOGY" for a japanese tourist going to Philippines.
I agree
yeah exactly ❤️
That video of mana went viral wherein many vloggers had reacted on it because of the title lol
Ye
We love the Japanese people as well because they are so disciplined, friendly, and devoted to their beliefs. Filipino and Japanese traits, when combined together, seem to be a perfect match. I remember Fumiya of Pinoy Big Brother (PBB), we just loved him so much because he got befriended with a Filipino housemate in the most cheerful, loveable, and natural way. Two cultures that found each other, becoming one, and touched the hearts of many Filipinos. Thanks for a wonderful video reaction.
Manna: "loves jollibee"
Yui: "loves mang inasal"
100% pinoy 😂
Yeah mana like jollibee
But mana most likely is mang inasal
mang inasal are for when eating alot because unlimited rice
and jolibee is the lighter meal
Maybe it's the words that Mana used in describing her countrymen. Maybe what she really meant was Japanese people are more reserve than Filipinos when she said "Japanese people are shy and don't care about other people". Mana loves Jollibee so much, she's so sweet, I like her.
Filipinos are very friendly. You won't get any problem. And we love our japanese and chinese cousins!
Japanese food portions are way much smaller than Filipino food.
Exactly!!!lol
Ali's eyes sparks with joy, winter season is love 😍
fun fact: she loves Jollibee, she' starting to look like Jollibee herself
Lmao 🤣😅
totoo yan . mukha ng julibi si mana bibi 😝💓
Lmfaoo 🤣😂😭
Is that supposed to be compliment?
Wish I could visit Japan again. Love the food and the culture
I'm a Filipino and I'm scared from the beginning but at the end I salute the lady giving feedback about Philippines....thank you and God bless everyone
You guys are so natural and exude happiness ...it's contagious! That sure made me press that Subscribe button without hesitation. I look forward to happily watching more reactions from you both.
Take care and stay well!
I'm with Yui on the chicken preference. Chicken inasal is life! It's grilled, which means the excess fat melts off. It makes me feel like I'm heating healthier food. There are foil packs (retort packs for the Japanese) with inasal marinade. It's a relatively good way of enjoying your inasal at home.
On a different note, Mana (the woman in the video) has a genuinely positive attitude. She is so kind, joyful and respectful of the Filipinos in her videos. That's the main reason why she's treated so well in the country. She makes an effort to remember to say "THE Philippines" (the name of the country) instead of just "Philippines". She may slip up a bit, but that's perfectly fine. The effort is much appreciated!
I love you both already! How come I did not come across your channel earlier. Yui is so nice, cheerful, and lovely 💜 This channel deserves more views and subscribes.
Philippines and Japan are friends even the time back that the Philippines was colonised by the Japanese before but still no angry in our hearts..Japanese are very welcome to the Philippines
Yui is so funny😂
She must’ve been thinking the video was giving Japanese negative feedbacks so they shouldn’t go to the Philippines that she was hesitant to watch it haha
Love you guys! Make more videos, God bless!🙏
it's fun to watch yui transition from hesitant and apprehensive to nodding and smiling.
Hi.
First time I’ve seen your video, I was crying and laughed, seeing the two of you reminds me of my son and his wife, I felt like am watching them, they are newly weds with my little grandson living here in Japan.
Keep up the good work guys, God blessings be with you always.😊😊😊
If Yui is not normal Japanese, I'm not a normal Filipino. I can relate to Mana's explanation of what Japanese people are like: I'm shy and I don't like greeting people. Not all Filipinos are cheerful. Case in point, me.
Your vlog is so addicting, totemo inspiring, very fun to watch and such a cute couple. Watching you guys really removes my stress, thank you Ali and Yui! please continue to make this kind of videos and always stay safe.
Video ga omoshiroi desu..
We celebrate Christmas starting BER months ( Sept,Oct,Dec) until late January, you can still hear Christmas songs and see decorations. Come February we’ll slowly move on leaving the Christmas vibe to prepare Valentine’s Day celebration, you’ll see a lot of Valentine’s decorations too coz it’s quite a big deal in the Philippines.
Fun facts jollibee and inasal has the same owner it also owned by jollibee..😍😍😎😎
I think this is a sarcastic way of telling not to go but to go!😂
Phillipines japanese are frndly country ❤❤❤ spread love not hate.❤all country are good friends with the Philippines ❤
Wow!.. Thank u so much. Praise be to God.. God bless Japan.
Your video is entertaining! Japanese are always welcome, it doesn’t matter if you are shy or friendly, just enjoy the paradise islands, the beach and connect with nature!!!! Hello from Arizona!!!
You both were so cute together. Nice reaction. Stay safe and healthy 🙏❤️
I like Yui's transition from Japanese to English to Japanese. 😆
Thank you for loving my country and i love you❤🫰☺️ both
The weather here in Japan is too humid and hot while Philippines it was hot but not humid, that’s the difference !
I only watch Japanese culture on tv show's, youtube and I loved it. met few japanese people they are so friendly and very discipline.
You two are the most cheerful person's I've seen reacting to a vloggers impressions of the philippines I'm a fan .
We went to Japan (Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka) in winter 2019 before the pandemic hit. I agree with Mana about Japanese people being serious. When we're on the train, I'll notice people are so quiet and minding their own business, even with a group or with families. Reading books, checking their phones, or taking a nap. And people are always in a hurry. When you're in the escalator (in Tokyo), you have to stay in your left side if you're just standing and waiting, so people who are in a hurry they can take the fast route on the right side. But in Osaka it's the opposite, you have to stay on the right side if you're standing and waiting, same thing here in the US. But what I like about Japan, trains are always on time, and people are so well disciplined.
But people in osaka are very friendly and open compared to tokyo, you can get along with osaka people more easily, sometimes suddenly you will be visited by osaka people who will help you
You two looks good together! A happy couple 🤗☺️
Well,we Filipinos are indeed cheerful tho it's a major setback for foreigners when they go back to their country we often leave others an impression of something that's missing from them even their home they still miss the familiar feeling that we give that's why we Filipinos can give almost anyone the feeling of a close family ties 😀
So true.
thank both of you for my love my country pilipino people is very kind .and be loving people what is nation...
We Filipino's loved Manna.☺️👍💖
I love how she switches between languages
Thank you for sharing your thoughts, your likes and dislikes of things in the Philippines with honesty. God.bless you both. Hope to hear from you in your next vlog.

There's a Korean girl with a CZcams channel in the Philippines. Jessica Lee, and she eats a lot and never gets fat. She's fluent in Korean, English, and semi fluent in tagalog.
13:23 Surprisingly, Jolibee fully owns Mang Inasal since 2016.

What a cute couple.^^ It made me subscribe to their channel. Keep it up. I'll support this channel until it'll become well-known by a lot of people.
I think the main reason why people prefer other countries than theirs is that their used to the way of living. Living in a new country relieves you from the system you were pressured in from your last. This mostly applies to people who really love to travel because the thought of adjusting to a new lifestyle satisfies their adventurous personality. I personally want to go to Japan and I am currently learning the language. I am sure that a lot of filipinos want to leave the philippines for many right reasons. Salaries that are below the minimum wage are normal and you can barely get by. Finishing college doesn't guarantee you a job, let alone not having a degree. Mangoes are cheap? maybe for foreigners. PHP has higher value than JPY but then Japan pays their employees better.
I don't hate my country, I love my country. The PH is a beautiful country that I always flex to my friends from abroad. So if I were to advise foreigners, just visit the Philippines, take a vacation, visit the thousands of tourist spots and islands and enjoy, but never try to work here because the pay is so small, and the cost of living is so high.
When you're earning minimum wage, it would seem the cost of living is high, because you're barely able to make ends meet. But for middle-income earners (P50k-100k/month) like me, I find the cost of living quite reasonable. I also don't live beyond my means.
I appreciate that She likes our philippines
It’s normal to like things you are never used to liking before OR love the places you’ve ever been, in my case, i love Japan, been there twice on different occasions, love their food and scenic spots, and its people as well, i love to visit or have a vacation there, but when asked where i’d like to stay, i’d still choose to live to where i was born - that is, The PH.
Its more love in philippines 🥰🥰
Yeeees! We love Philippines 😊🇵🇭
@@aliyuiclubfilipinojapanese7675 can you react po in our filipino singer marcelito pomoy The Prayer in Wish Bus 107.5
Mana can speak English fluently. In one of your vlogs "8 days in the Philippines" she said she can't speak in English. She speaks Japanese language throughout the video. How fast you've learned? That's incredible.
We ❤️ you Yui and Ali🇵🇭🇯🇵
Even though Filipinos and Japanese are Orientals, the two Cultures are different in Someways, the History between two Countries goes way back. Japanese already immigrated to the Philippines in the 1600's the history of Japan and the Philippines goes way back for centuries.
Yeyy!! Another video...Love you both ❤️
Yayyyyy awww thank you so much poo🥲🧡

Ciao Ali and Yui, want to be part of your journey, still remember you only have just 3k subs, i feel very happy seeing your channel growing, goodluck guys and stay safe...
Mang Inasal is a sister company of Jollibee~ 💕
We love japanese so much....! japanese people are goal getter got a strong personality, very independent people, respective coz I saw one video in fb there is one boy child crossing at pedestrian lane together with an old lady riding in a wheelchair then the child take a bow to each driver he pass coz the driver let them to pass. Japanese people are very discipline people and hopefully most of the Filipino people will get that kind of attitude. Take care the two of you, be happy always and enjoy....! Filipino's love you....! God bless...! 😊💞💞💞
and weeee love any anime they release in japan, we love anime ❤
I spent time in Vietnam, my wife is from South Vietnam, and the weather is the same as The Philippines, two seasons, hot and dry and hot and wet.
Not a fan of winter either, maybe for 2 or 3 days it’s fine, for vacation. But driving, walking, not a fan of snow
Ate Yui getting concerned for us filos and kuya Ali enjoying while ate Yui is having doubts 😆
There is no doubt, you two are the cutest couple on God's earth. With good wishes, UK.
We love you from the Philippines 😍😍
Jollibee own's Mang Inasal by the way. :)
God bless you both ,!
Ehdi Wow! . The right word is reserved not shy. Also, you prefer something else instead of not liking it.
Very simple but so cute ❤️🇵🇭🇯🇵
Yui you said your personality is not like that of a typical japanese, but you have a Filipino personality in you 😊👍🏻
Ahaha yeah actually I was thinking maybe I have some Filipino genes maybe?😂
Yeah we’re so different custom&tradition..😊😊😊
Good things are coming hope to see more bloggers to promote our country, ur all welcome!
