In the late 70s growing up in the bay Area, we had a weather girl named Kristine Hanson...I would stay up to watch the news with my dad just to see her...beauty and class...weather girls have a special place in our hearts. BTW...she is really easy on the eyes...awesome!
James Har-Kristine Hanson still does the weather on Good Day Sacramento! I remember when Hugh Hefner died, she was explaining that she posed for Playboy ( in the early 70's) and that he was always a gentleman to her. To say the least, her co-workers were surprised.
I can still remember getting that first hot dog in 60 seconds, and thinking, I will just eat hot dogs from now on. I never thought every food would come from the microwave.
The good stuff doesn't. Real restaurants won't have one in the kitchen, perhaps the server's station for warming pie, etc. I don't use a microwave for anything but reheating a cup of coffee or cooking frozen vegetables. Otherwise, I have no use at all for them because they occupy way too much counter space. You may wish to argue but I'm sticking with what I learned from Johnson & Wales.

Just found the video where you explain the strap on your leg. I saw a comment on another video from someone saying it was holster, but your explanation makes sense, it's about comfort.
I can always tell when my stepson has been by to visit his mother because he always microwaves and eats leftovers and never in his life has he reset the timer.
I came to the conclusion that some people just set a random time on the microwave, longer than the food might need, just to turn it on. Then they pull the food out when "they think" it's probably done. I guess that requires less thought than setting an actual time and waiting for it. Who knows. But yeah, that's a pet peeve of mine too.
Your boyfriend isn't the only one who can't be bothered to zero the microwave timer. Many of my co-workers do it too - and I agree it's very annoying and very inconsiderate of others who end up having to do it for them when they use the microwave later. Other rude and annoying things co-workers do is take equipment (e.g. a broom and dustpan or mop and bucket) and not return it to where it belongs when they are done with it, so the next person who needs it can't find it. Or if they do return it very often they don't bother to empty the dustpan (even if there is a garbage can right there) or empty the mop bucket (even though it's right next to the sink) so the next person who needs it has to do it for them. People today have gotten lazy - they leave their job for the next person who needs the equipment they just used.
You look great with glasses. Most girls do, but don't think so. I met my wife at the beach at a state park. She was very cute and looked terrific in a bikini. I thought she looked about 19 (I was 26). We talked all day and I got her phone number. I called her a few days later and asked her out on a date. When she met me there, she was wearing a white and black business pantsuit and glasses (contacts at the beach). She was even about 4 times more gorgeous than I thought. What I thought was a 19 year old girl was a 24 year old woman with an MBA and an executive job at a major insurance company. I still pinch myself to make sure I'm not dreaming. We've been married 37 years. I still can't believe she even went on a date with me!
