For me, the best cure for burnout even if ironically does get repetitive, is to help moths and when you log back in and as soon as your on they join you, surround yourself with people who enjoy your company. Also hi Val! Hi forest and hi gramps!

I had a massive burnout.
I’ve played Sky for two years, and after Season of Shattering, my burnout started to hit. A lot of my Sky friends were taking a break around shattering, so I ran alone quite often. With my personal goals being the Forest Elder mask costing 250 ascended candles, and my other goal being 1000 candles, after reaching that, I couldn’t play anymore. Even staring at the starting screen would make me feel ill…
My recovery…it took a while, but I think what helped was to allow myself to have days when I don’t candler run. Telling myself that it’s okay to have less candles than the day before, and that my friends will still be there even if I’m gone. I don’t have to be constantly improving to enjoy Sky. All I really needed, was the company of my friends. I realise that my unreasonable goals and constant candle running without friends was what caused my burnout.
I hope new players of Sky can also realise, that having a lower candle count doesn’t mean you’re doing badly. Having less cosmetics than your friends does not make you any less good at the game, and you can play at your own pace. What’s most important is that you enjoy the game.
The Aurora Concert is what ignited my love for Sky cotl again, and I’m very happy and lucky to have the opportunity to keep playing this beautiful game ❤️

This video didn't cover every activity you can do on a daily basis, they are also grandma and geyser, yeti race with stranger or friend, playing with krills, being capeless, the 4 trials for extra wax, shards, theater with friends or random (play it or watch it), adopt a bird in windpaths, adopt moths, doing the waxtrees in wasteland, doing eden run, flying a little plane in windpath oob, playing instrument and get applause from stranger, listen and applause a stranger playing an instrument, playing with the lil dog in prairie, make a crab statue, heart trade, exploit glitches, fishing, riding turtle in sanctuary, visiting the big krill underwater, playing rp, showing oobs to moths, going to the different eden castles, forest top of trees oob, night coliseum oob, all wasteland castles oob, space wasteland oob, all elders oob, manta and crab oob, rainbow oob, well explore all oobs actually since they really are ALOT of them, also new season means new OOBs to look for; anyway I don't even think I covered everything haha ^^
ofc as a veteran you can get a bit bored after a while, but don't worry by really searching new things to do you can easily find something entertaining.
honestly, this game has a lot to do in it, idk if you have been playing for long enough to have seen everything but you can't say it lacks content, especially for new or mid level players who haven't even discovered 1/50 of the game yet :) and these are probably the people searching for and watching this video if they are looking for things to do in sky on a daily basis

I'm having burnout seeing other people have better quality in sky than me 😢
