- Ashish Ranjan is an ex-ISRO, ex- BARC Scientist. He has spent the past 5 years writing a book on his experience of getting selected and working in India's Nuclear program and how he worked his way up into India's space program despite his poor academic background. Ashish had scored 53/100 in Mathematics and 61/100 in Physics on his 12th boards. He had even failed Physics in his 11th Standard. Ashish never got admitted to top universities for his B.Tech. like IITs or NITs. Yet, he made his way into India's two of the largest research organizations as a Scientist. He has recently published a Book, "The Boy Who Did Not Sign" which is a fictional story inspired by a true event in Ashish's life in BARC. The book is about pursuing a dream career despite our limitations and disadvantages, about relationship dynamics we all face, about doing the right thing, and much more. The Boy Who Did Not Sign is now published worldwide (Paperback + eBook).

Hey man! Thanks a lot I found this video. I have wasted solid 1 year of my life in the name of studying CA full time at home leaving my job thinking that I would study well if I get full time. But instead of studying I addicted to CZcams shorts and living in guilt. I got very good insights from your video and implement and improve and update later!

This is something I can relate to myself as well I have wasted a lot of time and I have a guilty for that but the most part after knowing everything and realising I am still not improving those things... I do the same mistakes and promise to myself daily that from tomorrow I will change but that tomorrow never comes.

I myself cracked IIT bhu (CS) in 1 year time phase and you would do it too, don't respond to negativity and work extremely hard to the possible extent, You can get definitely get your dream iit. Thanks for uploading this video Ashish. Going through the same situation due to 1 mistake in past which cost me 1.5 years of my life. And now i am working hard leaving everything behind just to get a thing which i could have achieved in those 1.5 years. After listening it felt good that i am doing right thing now. The thought of getting behind of the time is very irritating. Then we need to work hard each and everyday, every minute to chase the wasted time and compansate with something which we could have done earlier.

I got a good branch(not that good in terms of placements, but I like it the most) in a govt. College, in my hometown, which is like a tier 3 college. No placements. I feel like I wasn't able to enjoy my college life at all as I was at home for 4 years. Wanted to go to a hostel badly. Most friends left the town for engineering colleges in metro cities. So now after BE, I am preparing for GATE so that I can specialize and also enjoy college life.
