You don't know how it's going to tie into things also "spinoff of anything" it is a spinoff, it doesn't have to be directly connected to something specific, it's in the era, from a different perspective and from a different part of the universe. Just get over yourself.

1883 was always intended to be a single season. 1923 is commissioned for a second season. So what are you on about?

@ChristinaDay-vi1yb ill check it out. I was hoping the popularity of Yellowstone would mean that Cole would start doing more high profile roles. But unfortunately still not much going on. I just love the character of Rip. He needs way more screen time. People would be on board, he's a fan favorite character. Luke is awesome too, but they never let him do much. I'd be down for a spin off featuring both of them.

I finally watched start to finish this show four days ago.
From all the research I’ve done.
It comes down to Mr. Taylor Sharidane wanting to spin off so many other projects/shows and they didn’t get the ratings he expected.
He didn’t want to pay what Mr. Kevin was worth and now the fans pay the consequences!
Shame people forget how to respect one another.
1923 didn’t really have an ending and didn’t explain nearly enough. 1888 had a weird artsy ending but at least it showed the roots and Dutton heritage. Yellowstone has seriously pissed me off with how they won’t release the last several episodes without two years passing first(but dang I love that freaking show). We’ve been hearing about 6666’s forever and still nothing. Now the nerve to say their is a 1944 coming it’s just like give me a break. Maybe Sheridan has a super cool way he is going to end all these simultaneously but I’m not holding my breath for that one.

I think the producers of Yellowstone believe that when Costner gets through with his final western movie, he will come back to finish or continue Yellowstone into future seasons. If Costner's movies lose money at the movie theatre box offices, then Costner will need to come back to Yellowstone to get his reputation and personal fortune restored. - Just guessing, but maybe this is a pretty good guess.

You do know that Sheridan don’t but control when they air. That’s all paramount and paramount plus. And you know he writes his story the way he wants them to end. He also didn’t know this show was going to be such a hit, so the scripts weren’t written. But don’t watch that’s your choice.

I bought into Yellow Stone and got really PO'd and still am over the unfinished season 5. I understood that 1883 was a one off so wasn't expecting anything more then you come along with 1924 with a season 2 promised on that. All of them are good, but I am afraid that I may have crossed over before anything gets done on the two already promised. Sheridan puts a lot of store in the Cowboy ethos but the main thing about them was as is constantly hammered home in all the series is keep your word. Sheridan ain't doing it. Seems he has bought into the California ethos.
Just keep John in the capital or take him to the train station. The rest of the crew can carry it . They are all great actors with good story’s

wouldn't it be wise that 1923 Spencer and Alexandra would blend into 1944 considering its only 20 years between 1923 to 1944 why need a new person to take the role as Brandon Sklenar could take the lead both of the 2 in 1923 were engaging everyone is waiting for season 2 to see how the 2 arrive back to Montana to sort out Banner Creighton and Donald Whitfield trying to take over the Yellowstone ranch
Twenty years is a long time. World War II will have its effect on Spenser, I believe, seeing as how he already fought in one world war (he may be drafted having combat experience). Matthew McConnaughey should (I hope*) get the lead in 1944 playing the older, more rugged Spenser. Of course, we won't know until later this year or next, but I can't wait. I've watched all of Sheridan's work and have enjoyed them all.

That’s it I’m done with this. Yellowstone season 5 only came out with the first part. 1883 was brilliant but then was just one season, which it wasn’t meant to be…. 1923 is a bundle of crap so far. Fast forward through most of the season hoping it would be better further in. The whole season was rubbish in my opinion.

Taylor Sheridan has too many irons in the fire and needs to complete what he has started. When anyone is doing so many things they cannot do justice to what they are working on his head is getting too big for that hat he is trying to wear
Going into the clues of all the prequels will be a good idea however the main thing is 1944. The reason for that is because I'm after World War II economy in America especially around Montana Texas Wyoming and excetera other Western States was hit hard the economy almost collapsed. The cattle industry took a major hit around that time era but at the same time it's almost a valuable lesson and then the top it all off we still have to rebuild our issues with Japan and Germany so this story can probably go anywhere however if we know Taylor Sheridan, is the fact that he loves sticking to the story of the cowboy, so there's something we're missing in 1944 about the cowboy. So y'all's best bet is to find that missing piece of history in 1944 surrounding the Western religion and history of the cowboy

The stars of Yellowstone, Are an extremely small bunch of men and women… compared to all the men and women that make up the blue-collar jobs of making movies / documentaries / docudramas / historical shows / etc etc.
Outside of the actors and actresses, just to produce one episode of Yellowstone, it’s estimated in the industry that it takes up to 700 people to produce 45 minutes of just one episode.
All the truck drivers / electricians / Riggers / gaffers / scaffold builders / carpenters / on site, make up artist / on site hairdressers / wranglers / animal handler’s / painters / the list goes on and on and on…
And,
then you should see how many it takes to make an hour and a half movie!!!! 🎥 Try like 1,500 to 2000 men and women…. And all of these jobs are, high-dollar blue-collar Union jobs. 😅
