      They are there! Look to the right of the two statues in the background, they fly from behind the cliff. It's a very subtle effect, love that it's not in-your-face! :D

    Awesome work man. For this kind of flythrough animation (no moving objects) do you still use irridiance map/LC and pre-baking the GI or just straight Brute force+Light cache? and what's your AA settings and Noise threshold for a smooth anti-aliasing in animation like this with tones of tiny leaves/trees. Thanks.

    • @stfVFX
      @stfVFX  Před rokem +1

      hey! Thanks! I used BF + LC - I try to use that as much as possible since it always looks the best (its the noisiest though :( )
      I think AA settings for BG was something like 5/12 0.025 and FG was 3/13 0.04

    My oh my, awesome!!! How did you create the water? It looks so natural. Did you create all this foliage with Speedtree or used any libraries? How were cloud shadows made?

    bro how much it take for render

  • @elartistadelosartistas

    How much time It took to render? What are your PC Specs? Do you think an RTX 3090 can manage to render this type of environments? Many thanks

    • @stfVFX
      @stfVFX  Před rokem +1

      Hey!
      FG was like 20 min / frame If I remember correctly, the BG is just a 4k still and it took like 45 minutes with high samples...
      Having a ryzen 9 5950x, 64 GB of RAM and a gtx1660ti
      I dont think a 3090 could handle those kind of scenes, afaik it only has 24 gb VRAM?
      This scene took like 39 for the BG and like 12 for the FG...sooo yea...maybe it would be possible with ALOT of optimization etc etc
