great thing to see the players discuss without engines and see just how great their depth of analysis is.
You play chess continuously for 30 years you also can do the same.
@@KP_100 alternatively, let's learn to appreciate?
😅 yeah people just hate people for this 😡 like what man you could hardly play for even 1 HR and they are dedicating their whole life into this@@ChandrakantVadher
@@KP_100 that's not true a lot of people play for decades because they love the game and are still uncomparable to these players... such a dumb statement
Congrats Vidit! To beat Nakamura 2:0 in the Candidates is already a great achievement. Good luck in the next rounds!
Good on Hikaru for going even when he lost, I get annoyed when there’s only the winner in these
He literally doesn't care, so doing a post-mortem is not a big deal for him.
@@raylopez99 i don't think he went when he lost to Vidit in the first half
i mean vidit lost to pragg also and did the interview.
basically if i am not wrong if you dont obey the officials you will be fined like 5k pounds/dollars
@@raylopez99 what kinda weird cope is that? when he wins he is soon to become champ but when he loses ahh he doesnt care?
@manish-ly7iw they don't make you go if you don't want to
This was the best post-game analysis, with Anna basically not even involved. I love it when the two opponents show such detailed lines.
Vidit is a gentle sounding Beast.
He sounds indian
😂 what do u expect from an Indian ? To sound like Nordics(@@user-gt4cn2my5d
@@user-gt4cn2my5doh sht no way
@@user-gt4cn2my5dBecause He is an Indian 🇮🇳
Because he is.
Mad respect to Hikaru and vidit.
Hakaru great for doing this interview, it must have caused some pain. Thank you.
This is a masterclass game by Vidit, this is how you play when someone weakens their king in that manner, Hikaru saw the engine say its ok to play g5 but forgot the engines are 3500, you have to play crazy variations to survive, even i saw a line where he had to sack a queen to equalize
Props for finding g3!
Hess actually checked with engine, after the live commentating trio didn't find a move that keeps advantage there. Rxh6 was risky by Vidit
it would be amazing if we could have the players discuss like this every time. if they're comfortable.
Nice game Vidit❤ ... Most people pre tournament thought he would draw the most but he has definitely been one of the most interesting players with 6 decisive games......
I love how they're just playing as each other during the analysis. good stuff
Vidit's time situation was much better in this game. I dont think it is enough to battle nepo, who plays classical like rapid but brother is on th path.
Vidit is so poised throughout this, and Hikaru seems rattled. That's a psychological edge right there.
Thank you Hikaru and Vidit, your combined analysis of the game is invaluable!
sad to see hikaru lose to the same person who broke his 45 game streak twice in a row
He only broke it once
@@claudiog7692 let me rephrase that: "sad to see hikaru lose twice in a row to the same person who broke his 45 game streak" happy?
@@toastedsalmon6005 sorry it was very late and I couldn’t think properly, you were right even the first time

Nice Win VD 😊
Vidit likes all results equally 3/3/3
Maybe vidit is not the favourite but he is giving the public great games
great game by vidit
I mean Hikaru just lost & he is visibly shocked & sad.. & everyone is expecting him to function optimally during the analysis ? Have some common sense plz
i duuno what Hikaru did to Vidit, but winning home and away its insane
The analysis is insane
Vidit sounds in control even in the postmortem.
Postmortem???💀
humbled
@FIDE chess. It's round 9 not 8.
What was the end all about? Looked like he saw a ghost or something!!!
I think it might have been Alireza arguing with the arbiters. There was a lot of drama about his shoes making annoying sounds during the game apparently.
@@saunakpanda6328Alireza needs to get some of pointy spirally Ali Baba shoes. Those wouldn’t make much noise .
@@michaelblankenau6598apparently women's high hills ain't causing no problem to the arbitrators!
love analysis WITHOUT an engine. old school is so good vidit showing skill, hikaru not wanting to calculate and just check the engine xd
The only game that players help each other to correct their mistakes
I think every candidate can learn from these 2.
Sad to see daddy Magnus lose custody of Hikaru to step daddy Vidit 😞
You got me hard
Clearly nothing about chess anymore 👹
kkkkkk, so good!
As a hikaru fan this hurts but i love vidit too he plays well when he plays well. Lol.
Judging from this interview, Hikaru seems to be quite confused, unable to calculate the long lines and accurately evaluate the positions. Not a good sign from someone who was supposed to be one of the favourites to win. Vidit has made him look like an amateur in both games.
I now think Anish was very correct in judging hikaru 😅
He was never a favorite .
Then blaming about time. Finding excuses.
@@georgeray649 i mean he is not prepared well it is clearly visible so blaming time is obvious 😕
"One of the favorites", he is the oldest player, which means he had the most chances playing candidates, only played twice, never led the tournament and even when two players went to the WCC he didn't even get second place. Don't get me wrong, he is an amazing chess player, but apart from blitz/bullet online he is mostly a top 10 player, Nepo, Caru are ahead, and probably Gukesh/Pragg/Firo are possibly better already, but even if not, they will soon be better.
Damn Hikaru. Common man.
He's not common.
Common man!
vidit ganhou duas vezes do top 3 do mundo no torneio de candidatos
Round 9....
I love how vidit was dominantly controlling flow of conversation, showing him moves he missed and even giving its in depth analysis, in the beginning hikaru was completely clueless about the moves vidit pointed out.
This loss is fine i think for hikaru, it was an exciting game regardless, still on 4.5/9, the leaders are on +1, so the scoreboard is quite tight atm
Good chess, bad outcome. Hikaru still has a chance so hopefully he can get some victories soon.
Most people don't agree that it's a "bad outcome."
Most people agree it wasn’t good chess
Most people agree that Vidit outplayed Hikaru
Hikaru astounds me. Massive W for taking part in a dual interview after the loss.
Most players hide in their rooms. He's built differently.
Bro that's fide rule that if they don't come for interview when called they will be fined 5k dollars or something
Hikaru, gentleman~!
Vidit should have the mouse
As the stronger player.
Twice.....
It’s a right handed mouse, he’s on the right side, that’s all there is to it. I don’t think Vidit cares if he gets the mouse or not 😅
@@logicallylazy That kind of thinking is the reason that you are logically lazy 😂
@@ronitkadam5355 what do you think about it then? It’s not that deep bro. U got beef cuz the winner didn’t get the mouse? The computer mouse? Do u hear yourself bruh?
Hikaru literally played all the bad moves after nh5. There were like 5 good moves every move after nh5 and Hikaru chooses the only ones that lose the game.
I think Hikaru is the only one who lost both games to the same person
Yes He was
Hikaru looks more lost in this game, you can see in the interview he missed a lot of lines which he could have played because he couldn't figure out what it leads to, vidit clearly calculated the position better.
Man probably wasn't turned on for the game or took it lightly knowing Vidit is coming off a loss so he tried to bully him to play an unpredictable line but ended up being unable to predict it himself
Vidit slow but spotting all the best moves, naka very fast but not spotting the best. This what makes naka very good in bullet
*Round 9
Respect for hikaru 🎉 despite loss he discussed 😊
Kudos to hikaru
Istg if they would've just went on with the king sacrifice game for a few more minutes vidit would've won that game too
Woah Hikaru has become a great sport. Mad respect.
Rules Hikaru
5.12 … Rb3?? Nf6 is the move here!
Hikaru - hats off for being a great sport. Vidit - great that you gave Hikaru a lot of space after winning.
Adoption successfully carried out!
I respect your parents for that.
Hikaru is gentleman ❤
What! No🤣
crazy how y'all are brainwashed to this extent
Vidit has so many decisive game why is that?
Because of his play style. He used to play safe and solid lines, that's why the results were always draw. But now he is playing sharp and double edged lines thats why he is winning as well as losing.
16:10 sagar cameo
Didn't see him there
Vidit is destroying Hikaru in the post game analysis, very satisfying to see someone humble big Hickey a little bit
_Vidit is destroying Hikaru..._
*Destroying!?* Do you work for Fox "News"? How do you see a shared analysis between two players as someone _destroying_ anything...
@@pbezunartea He's a NPC
@@pbezunarteaI love when people are targeting Hikaru, cos he baselessly targeted Hans without a proof.
Kramnik landed a Karma on him, VD brought him back to reality where he is not a focal point in this universe
@@deadpooldeadpool665Very true lol, when he targeted Hans he expected everyone to believe him but when Kramnik targeted him he was asking for the proof and making comments like these are baseless allegations and there is no solid evidence.
Like dude you literally did the same thing a while ago where you didn't provide any evidence and made baseless allegations.
@@AayushSaxena07he is not even the only person to target Hans, and there is legitimate concerns about Hans cheating, he has also cheated in the past, maybe it was evidence-less but DEFINITELY not baseless, comparing the Hans drama with the Kramnik drama is just simply, dumb, respectfully
This must be so difficult to do; you can see and hear how frustrated Hikaru is. I applaud his magnanimity.
What happened to vidit voice
Hikaru kidnapped him
Very dubious game by Hikaru.
Why are people being weird and raggin' on Hikaru for his analysis. Hes just coming off a game he lost with emotions still high and still frustrated. To even treat us to the dual analysis is praiseworthy especially given his mental state probably wasnt the best
I mean you can't expect people to be empathetic if he keeps saying that it doesn't matter what the result is he doesn't care if he loses.
Either you say you care about the games and tournament which will lead to people understanding your mental state or you say you don't care and it doesn't effect you in any way, he said that he is here just for the content which will result in people believing in that and criticize you because you are the one who said that "losing doesn't affect me".
Threw for content
What was hikari looking for at the end I need to know 😂
Hikaru looked surprisingly clueless on this analysis and on his recap video. Not a position he was comfortable very early.
He was outplayed by a stronger player
He looked worse than Hans analysis which he himself criticised, should we check with Kramnik?
@@deadpooldeadpool665 what's your allegation? he played an horrible game because the beads were mal functioning? stfu, he just had a bad day.
@@higherbeingX Vidit is a much weaker player than Hikaru. That's why Hikaru is leading the candidates and Vidit is losing almost every round.

Hikaru got a lucky win against Fabi and got too cocky today😂😂
He won 4 of his last 5 matches. He must be really lucky, I guess.
