Out of all the clones this one is the best as long as it's the av one not the hdmi edition.
Update: Traded in to a local game store that gave me $10 for the system alone with power/av and still in the box. Thus, $8~ for the controller on my end is absolutely worth it.

Mario is definitely a good one to test too because you could see the blue shading is different in the sky
Another game I use to test these clones is , nightmare on elm Street. You definitely could tell with this one the sound chip

@@dmcpcrt One thing I noticed is that "Super Mario Bros." actually sounds like its supposed to on this particular console. Considering how on every other Hyperkin produced console (except the Retron 5), the sound font is radically different. czcams.com/video/TeIWakwL6Ng/video.html
@@supermariof0521 the music definitely sounded closer but the coins were very "tinny". I have capture equipment now I didn't before and probably could have gotten it better. Next ones I will, still a few to check out!

Ty btw I bought it cause of ur review, I only play rad racer and I sold my nes cause it felt like it was way too big for one silly game and you showed me that it plays the only game a care about well...
Right on! Rad racer is such a joy too, sick that you're still playing it!
You should write Hyperken and ask them why did you release this console with the same problems as before? Really a shame because Hyperkin sometimes make good things but their bad outweigh the more good of what they release.
all those are, is the original retron, just without power block, and one decent controller.

Not off topic at all! This is a Toshiba MD9DM1R. Big fan of it as it's small, but has stereo speakers and dual RCA inputs. Truth be told I only used it for a short time and then upgraded to a 20'' Trinitron BUT this thing is gorgeous in person.
Hi, can someone share their opinions on whether I should purchase this unofficial console like this or the original nes console to play my nes games? I'm trying to avoid buying both to avoid hoarding 😅
I'd say go for an official NES if you're going to be playing regularly. If you're just gonna "scratch the itch" here and there, this will likely do fine
Thanks for your input and for taking the time of putting this great video together. I think this company also sells NES controllers so I may purchase one to have as a backup. I think the new games are great, however I'm still a sucker for the old fashioned games. I don't plan to buy any of the newer systems and hold onto my old stuff since everything is going digital ❤😢
In your video when you pick your car on rad racer 4:44 in the video the line on far right side of screen is a little crooked and off. I’m having that happen with final fantasy double dragon and others. I play on a crt Do you think it’s this console causing it? Please help anyone?? I’m trying to save for a refurbished nes but want to make sure my tv isn’t causing those problems and just want to play my games normally
I'll have to check it again but it may be the geometry of our TV's doing this
@@dmcpcrt I barely noticed it in your video but I’ve watched so many videos and read about it and that’s the only thing that shows what mine is doing If it is a geometry thing with our TVs I guess a refurbished nes will have the same problems? I’m thinking about unscrewing the back of my tv and trying to get some dust out. I have no clue what I’m doing. I watched videos about adjusting the geometry of a crt, oh my gosh
Lol I prefer cool baby NES clone HDMI with built in games for 5$ you played a lot of good title in it 😏🤭
Does anybody else find the words "benchmarking" funny when talking about NES...
The reason you're getting shity audio it's because that's putting out mono just like the original nes and you have a stereo TV set the TV for mono or get a Y adapter
