In today’s episode, I speak with Dallas and Amanda Jenkins. Dallas is a returning guest to The Happy Hour and is best known as creator of the massively successful TV show, The Chosen. This time around, Dallas joins me along with his lovely wife, Amanda, to discuss their experiences with the show and some of the unique and powerful ways God is using it in the lives of people. Since 2014 when she launched her podcast, The Happy Hour with Jamie Ivey, Jamie has been elevating the stories of women and men chasing hard after Jesus. She believes that stories change the world, and that belief has been her motivation as Jamie has fostered a community of listeners who are eager to hear from others with different life experiences or unique perspectives.
On The Happy Hour, Jamie and a guest discuss the big things in life, the little things in life, and everything in between. In every podcast episode, listeners are pointed to Jesus, and it’s a joy for Jamie to be the one behind the microphone bringing these stories to life. Jamie lives in Austin, Texas, with her husband Aaron and four children.
