Pastoral Cows-Time Lapse, Oil Painting, Where Detail Meets Impressionism

Pastoral Cows uses a combination of detail and impressionism. Allowing brushwork and softness to coexist on the same canvas. Beginning with a light drawing of shapes for placement on a toned canvas of raw umber and gesso, this is my painting process for this painting. Please feel free to comment or ask questions.
