This game is actually really fun and addictive
So frustrating when you dont have the license to bag an animal thats already been shot. Also very frustrating when you dont have the license and a trophy boar comes into view. Very entertaining videos. Cheers.
The middle pin is good for 50yds at full extension, without having to compensate for drop.
My one shot on a bison, a lung hit, still took 20min of tracking

i shot one with the 308 modern sport rifle and it dropped so i just comepletely restarted the game and shot another one and it did the same thing so i dont know how tough they actualyl are

I really like this game but I wish there was a map dlc like Africa or etc and weapon dlc

Shooting ducks and any other animal with both compound and recurve in hunting Sim 2 is easy for me and fun hunting duck with recurve and compound is really fun
Shooting it with cross bolts is ridiculous. The buffalo acts like it got piercings.
You can fast travel back to the cabin
I might try shooting a 4200 dollar 270 rifle and try a headshot since I think it’s more accurate
Haven’t seen a single bison so far I’ve had this game for a week now and never ever saw a bison
If you go to the directly upwards tent from the cabin you can find a bison usually.

I know I am really late to this game but I cannot for the life of me hit the dear with the bow/cross bow

Oh and I shoot them when they're flying most of my duck kills with a bow I've actually been flying shots
I tried hunting bison today and used a .308 sporting rifle and killed 2 then came across one and took a brain shot and it ran and then a vital hit it ran 58 rounds later I dropped it with a back shot and it wasn’t even legendary

Kill the bison in one shot with a head shot. That’s what I did and he went down instantly

really? So I imagine that makes irl bison bow hunts pretty dangerous.
Yes they usually have elephant sized rifles for protection if charged
Umm no. One arrow through the lungs will put a bison down in less than a minute and the vast majority of times the back up rifle, if there even is one, is more along the lines of what you would use on moose or bear than elephant.
Thats far from being true, one well placed arrow will kill any animal on this planet
