To me this just tells the story of a toxic relationship and Gerard is singing from the abusers side (not that he'd do that) he hates the person and wants them gone but keeps crawling back. I dont really listen to alot of heavy bands but i love this band so fucking much. I love bands like TOP and FOB, but they do not show nearly as much raw passion in their songs. Like some MCR songs dont sound amazing but its the way they sing them that must makes me love every single one. Like you can just hear the utter passion and pain in their voices. They give everything in every single song and every time i listen to their old stuff like this i just want to cry because its so brutal and REAL.

They didn't sell out they got happier and had children. In bullets Gee was going through alcholism and drug addiction, he (and probably other band members) were suffering and in a very dark place in their lives and that's partly why this music is so different from the new. Every band changes over time because the members themselves are changing.
