I hope that Keir Starmer ends up being a good prime minister. It's been disappointing to see him turn the "Labour" party into an insanely right wing party over the last few years and lose a lot of the old labour base. Even if Labour ended up winning a landslide of seats in parliament, they got less actual votes in this 2024 election than they did in 2017... which was absolutely shocking to see. That is a bad sign for the party, considering after the last decade of Conservative government Labour *should* have in theory gained a TON of new votes, which they did not.
I hope he doesn't keep moving the party more conservative, or they will be out of power in a couple years because they further ignored their party's history and roots over the last century. It's still crazy to think that Labour gained less actual votes this election than they did a decade ago, almost nobody expected that to be the case. If Keir doesn't deliver, I am afraid that the UK is going to elect someone like Farage who's an actual fascist.
