  • ArcSite's integration with Moasure allows you to use your mobile device into a measuring tape, making it possible to measure objects virtually anywhere - a huge benefit for contractor and construction pros in any specialty. The app saves those measurements in ArcSite, where you can easily turn them into onsite estimates and proposals.

I'm curious, when you bid jobs, do you charge per job, per size of the area, or fixed price?

Hi, What kind of technology does this use to locate it's self? - like GPS or something else? Also, can you describe the accuracy in mathematical terms?

According to Moasure's website, the device uses highly sensitive motion sensors within itself and can sense movement in real time. It uses those movements to calculate distance travelled and any elevation changes in whatever you are measuring. What fascinates me the most about the device is that you don't need a GPS signal or WiFi or anything like that. The device knows where it is and its measurements are taken in relation to where it was and where it is going within the space you are measuring. Hope that helps.

Moasure is great. There are certainly a couple best practice rules you should know before using the device. But once you know how it works I would say it is extremely accurate.

Hi Victor, thanks for the question. We do have some pool installation companies that use ArcSite and love it! Admittedly it is not one of our biggest industries but we encourage you to download the app and see if it's the right fit for you. Please feel free to reach out and learn more if it seems like something that could help you increase efficiency and save you time!
