dude james harden got traded to a horrible team in houston and went from the 6th man to a superstar and a top 5 scorer of all time, isaiah thomas got traded to boston and averaged 30 ppg and was in the mvp race. this trade may not be what jordan poole wanted, but its what he needs
and he ruined it by being a bighead to draymond. he totally deserved that sucker punch
As a Warriors fan I hate to see him get traded. All he does is work hard and play his ass off. He got such a raw deal this last year, and hearing fans speaking badly about him is unfortunate. Seeing a lot of love in these comments at least. From Dray not getting even a slap on the hand for what happened, to constantly being reminded of it, to Kerr having the shortest leash for anyone besides the "big 3", and having to come off the bench while klay is jacking up fadeaway airballs and also not able to guard a chair anymore.... just a raw deal. He's not a world beater defensively, but giving this kid the reins to an offense and building around him, the sky is the limit for him. He'll put in the work in practice and in the offseason, that's one thing his teammates always said about him. Best of luck to Poole, we'll miss you in the Bay. Washington getting a good kid with lots of room to grow.

Fr Jordan Poole is exciting to watch and brings good energy to the team trading him was not the best idea because now they have to rely on their vets for the hard work and sometimes that’s not good. Chris Paul is a great player but he’s already been in the nba Jordan Poole hasn’t reached his prime yet and once he does he could be unstoppable. We’ve already seen glimpses of what he can do and once he improves even more with a bigger role in Washington he’ll be one of the most dangerous guards out there. Well, he used to work his ass off. Until he got that bag and his mentality SEEMED to change. I hope this trade will knock him back to reality and he becomes the hard worker that he was in prior seasons.

I can see Poole leading the league in scoring next season with the ultra green light in Washington (as well as leading the league in turnovers - which is why Tyus and him work well, Tyus assist to TO ratio one of the best.)
not sure about leading the league in scoring, but i can see him average from 25-30 ppg and like 6ast
And since there is no pressure, i can see his TO issue reduce a lot in the next 2 years

He is gonna be a star in Washington. He carried the Warriors many games including this season. I honestly believed the Warriors made a mistake trading this kid. Draymond ruined the chemistry of the team of with that punch. Kerr constantly messing with his minutes because him and Steph play the same role but Steph is not ready to step down yet. I mean the Nets, Pistons, Heat (without Lebron), Cleveland, Celtics, and the Magic made it to the finals and those teams where other then the Celtics big 3 and Lebron lead Cavs where not expected to make it to the finals let alone the Pistons actually winning a ring.
Gilbert was nothing more then a scorer and after making the playoffs 3 years in a row he was never able to make it to the playoffs again.
GIlbert was a scorer and that was all he was not a winner. Poole is not a winner and i don't even think he is a legit scorer without Curry and the GSW system he is streaky shooter and will get exposed once he is the main guy that teams plan for like they plan for all other superstars and not just a role players shining on a great team.

He had worse shot selection (excused with the explanation that he has earned the right), lower assist numbers, higher minutes per game and even worse shooting percentages for most of the season. I find it amazing that with as much hate as JP got this year, Klay barely got any criticism from Warriors fans.

Jordan Poole All Star next season BOOK IT!!!
This was a good move for Jordan's long-term career since he would probably not be a starter on the warriors for another couple seasons unless they traded Klay in the next few seasons and steph will still be playing for perhaps another 4 years. But congrats to Washington as they got the younger, faster, more athletic version of steph curry (not as refined as curry since that comes with age and repetition). Many people also fail to realize steph didn't start having success of any kind in the NBA until he was 26+ partly due to injury and a bad team. Poole is 23 already has a ring where he was a major contributor, will get his own team where he can dictate the offense and show his full arsenal. During this past season with the warriors he avgd 20ppg with good percentages and averaged 26.5ppg on 39% from three for 23 games when steph was out with an injury. I think he will lead the Wizards to the playoffs this season while averaging 27ppg or more they need a solid center and they can make some noise in the postseason... Future perrennial allstar for sure..
