Portugal: Algarve Road Trip (Lagos and Tavira)

- The first stops of my quick Portugal Road Trip was to the beautiful towns of Lagos and Tavira in Portugal's Algarve Region.
Lagos is famous for its incredible coastline and beautiful beaches. I stayed at the Canavial Hotel in Lagos, and it was the perfect location (not sponsored).
Tavira is one of the most beautiful towns I have ever seen. Whitewashed buildings with a river running right through the middle. The people of Tavira are friendly and laid back, and it's the perfect place to stop while you're in the Algarve region or Portugal.
Right next to Tavira is the small fishing town of Santa Luzia, which is the self-proclaimed capital of octopus! I had a dinner at Casa do Polvo (House of Octopus), and I must confess, it was the best octopus, perhaps even the best seafood, I have ever had. I highly recommend it.

I decided to go to Portugal last summer just because... I don't even know, why. But this country stole my heart. Lagos was one of the best destinations in my life EVER. Now looking forward to February trip to Brazil

I finished watching the Italian series and now on to the Portuguese! Portugal is my favourite country in Europe! I have been there few times and I am in love with the sun, the food, the wine and the amazing people! Your Portuguese is quite good! :) It sounds way better than your Italian! :))) I really like the fact that you try to speak the local languages during your travels! Not many vlogers do!

Vineyard in Algarve is worth visiting especially Adega do Cantor. They have hotel pickup service and wine tasting section 🍷. Not much to see apart from beaches but beach is wonderful but after visited 3 or 4, they are all the same. Amazing seaside walk 🏖 and food is delicious. A week holiday is more than enough.

Damn, what a sense of independence you may feel. Unfortunately I'll probably never be that comfortable financially to do this consistently but I plan on travelling for a year after law school. Best to do it while your young to discover your true self and mature
xAA7 I completely agree. Too many people wait until they are retired to travel, and at that point all the knowledge we gain about the world and ourselves has limited use. Safe travels!!
