- Zuma Beach is a county beach located at Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu, California. One of the largest and most popular beaches in Los Angeles County, California, Zuma is known for its long, wide sands and excellent surf.
Zuma Beach can be accessed directly from PCH. Parking is available in a large fee parking lot. On its southeast side, Zuma is bordered by Westward Beach. Westward is geographically situated on Malibu's westernmost promontory known as Point Dume.

Brings back memories of when my mom lived in the Point Dume area. I was a young adult then and would drive down there from “the valley” on weekends.
Brings back memories for me too: 1976 and 1986.

I spent so much time on this beach...i miss it is so much but dream about it often....
same here, late 70s 80s early 90s. The "scenery" was incredible then
grew up there in 70s through the 80s. I can see my old house on the edge of the bluff @0:10 . Went to Cabrillo Elementary and then Malibu Park Junior High and the Santa Monica High. Still have many, lifelong friends there. Hope I can visit them, and the old house, soon.
The beach of my youth in the sixties. Every High schooler in the summer was there. I was so tan. Right around those rocks toward the end of the video is another beach. Back then it was a nude beach.

We totally love all the beach videos, it is interesting to see the various beaches, but this one is above the others in the sense that it is really nice to see all the people, kids and adults alike, enjoying themselves, jumping on the waves, squealing, just being relaxed.

Was there almost every single morning, early to hit the waves before heading back to the valley and start my day.
Waves.....are just addicting but 2 shark encounters and 2 super bad rips got me out of the water completely.
Last time I was sure nooone saw I was waay out there, happened super quick. FIgured someones way of saying "hey stupid your luck is up"

Haha.. Thank you for walking on the beach. It is very warm here in Chicago but our beaches are closed off. But having been to California so many times on the beaches areas I do miss being there. Thanks again for your videos.

Cant have them there. I got throw off the beach in 90 for bringing my lab there early in the morning for a walk and playing in the water.
i dont know why everybody in cali are complaing about homeless problem in venice and downtown, when you still have great beaches in malibu, and other places.
Skid Row & Downtown LA is pretty bad but Zuma is beautiful. I'd buy a house near there or Laurel Canyon when I strike it rich.
ITs the entire so cal coast, inland areas plauged with homeless.
Malibu is High $ income area so it gets policed better. They dont wanna see that.
