QUESTION FOR CURTIS AND CHAT (ESPECIALLY THOSE WHO BET ON FOOTBALL)!
So, I just checked Fanduel (yes I do bet on football and I'll break this down in its simplest terms for those that don't) for the spread on England vs Netherlands game and I was floored to see that as of now England are very slight favorites at +155 (Bet $1 to win $1.55) +190 for draw (Bet $1 to win $1.90) and Dutch at +220!!! When both sides are over +100 the books are expecting a tight game.
Now, explain to me why England should be favorites based on how they've played when they've had 1 SOG in 90 minutes in the last 2 games, while the Dutch have scored 2+ goals in at least the last 2?
Frankly it was almost the same scenario in the Swiss match and I cleaned up betting under 2.5 combined goals (which is a stone cold 🔒 in England matches) and Swiss Double Chance (to either win or draw in 90).
