    Yeah, using Optimum lap is the best & simple intial step of sizing your powertrain. Matlab is useful when you have some test data

    Sir i have a very basic doubt , does the motor draws different amps at different speed ? I mean based on the different speed required for the vehicle does the motor draws diff amps from a battery ? Like if the ev needs more speed then more amps will be drawn and if ev needs medium speed then the motor draws less amps from a battery ?

      No. The draw of the current by the motor is dependent on load. Basically how much torque you want to produce to overcome the road load. You should generally vary the frequency of the reference signal to change the speed of the motor. You can find more info on this if you look up "V/f" control
