Check for updates in this comment and if it's not already reported, please reply below. If there are any minor, insignificant issues, I hope that the 2 full days & nights of work that went into bringing you this review is of value regardless and that the 30 minutes of edited-down content distilled from over 120 original video clips will provide viewing value regardless. I intentionally did not make this a "List and dissect every single easter egg and reference" video as it would have increased the length significantly while providing real additional value for only a very small and particular segment of viewers. There is a 3,100+ piece set here, not just a checklist, so I tried to give reverence to the forest at least as much as the trees. Thank you for any understanding.
Thanks Jang. I just wanted to say, if you didn't know, all of your indescribable work is very valued and dear to my heart - I don't know where I'd be without this channel. You are one of the reasons I'm still here. *Thank you,* sincerely, from the bottom of my heart, for everything you do for me, and so many others. Oh, and I will go leave a comment on the build vid to help you decide (in my opinion, probably the original speed).
czcams.com/video/yeXV6kVwT48/video.html Oooh look everyone! A new Lego game. That reminds me Jang, have you ever thought about playing through some more Lego games on your channel?
The Ninjago City was only $300 because it had so many of those 2x1 clear blue times for the water. Technically this set is only a little overpriced (should be $275). Ninjago City is underpriced, and Ninjago city used to be $350😐
To be fair, Ninjago city has lots of small pieces (look at the water, a few hundred right there), but yea, I still think its density gives it a better value
Nice set. Nice review. I like long in-depth reviews. I started my Saturday morning with this and a big cup of coffee and it was perfect. Your calm and soothing style is much appreciated and a flawless combo with your knowledge, intelligence and the wonderful world of Lego.
This set is probably just a dream. I don’t think this would fit into my city. I REAALLLYYY want this set. But it’s just not worth getting $300 worth of modulars. Plus, I only really get Lego stuffs on my birthday or Christmas. Awesome video!
I am planning on attempting to build this set with my own pieces and I think that Lego has done a good job with everything in this set!!!!Good review man!!!
Awesome review Jang! I never spent spent $100 on a single set but I think I got to do it for this one. Going to pick this up and a Saturn V at the end of the year.
You know what, I was kind of iffy about this set idea, but after watching this I was very impressed. I could see this be integrated into new jang city with some modifications, or even in a post apocalyptic moc with almost no modification as a post apocalyptic settlement.
The Bad/Scribbled Cop torso print is very much reminiscent of the original Mad Max outfit back when Max was still a cop. Pretty cool. The set as a whole also reminds me a lot of a now obscure toy line from the 1990's called Road Maniax. While the main focus was on vehicles (it was made by Hot Wheels), the good guys' HQ looked a lot like this. I wonder if that's intentional, maybe the builder was a 90s kid and had a nostalgia trip.
this to me absolutely incredible. Prohibitively expensive for me, but it is a fantastic set, I love everything about it. Looks like the designers had a real blast making this one.
Hello Jangbricks, what is the large Ship in this video you use to compare the size of apocalypseburg? I hard Never seen it, and found it beautiful for the second it appeared in the video :-) i love your reviews!
JANG, if you would like a break between reviewing large sets, I would really appreciate a review of the LEGO CITY Sky Police Parachute Arrest 60208, if you’re willing to dive into the Sky Police sets yet
This is a great looking set, I would love to get it, but I'm torn. Should I get this or the Ninjago city docks first. I already have the Ninjago city and I'll probably get both eventually. What do you think?
I went to the Lego store yesterday to get this but after seeing it in person (they have it on display) I fell out of love with it. For some reason I just didn't like it after seeing one in person. And can you imagine dusting this? It's a cool set but I decided to pass on it. Oh well, it saved me $300.
Me:plays fallout 4 Also me:sees this set Also also me: asks mom to buy it and says I have a lot of legos Again me: why do we have to stay here just to suffer
Would have liked to have seen the design on the shield that is on the training dummy / mannequin in the armory. Can anybody describe what it looks like?
Jangbricks, why LEGO doesn’t make bigger play sets with plate bases for its Star Wars line? I used to play with the old Castle theme from the late 80s and early 90s and it has amazing play sets. Why we don’t have the same nowadays, except for very expensive sets like Death Star or Bespin? Why no Mos Esley? Or Luke’s house? Or imperial base? It’s because people don’t buy and LEGO prefers to make ships and vehicles?
the suicide sqaud movie was only pg-13 like most movies they make sets for, so as long as they don't say suicide in a set then it should be fine. like that harleyquinn bike chase. was bassicaly a suicide sqaud set having a less accurate harley quinn figure and dead shot and movie batman!
This is a good example of where PPR does not work so well. Compared with Ninjago city this set looks to be of much lower value for money. However, WtABurg contains many large parts which are more costly to make and consequently more valuable. ... The review is as always very comprehensive Jang. At 300 usd the set is expensive but I see lots of play value for me and my kids. The bigger issue for many parents going forward beyond cost will be space. All these big sets take up a lot of room and Lego are releasing many larger sets these days. I guess that is the beauty of choice!

This seems like a great candidate for your quickbricks channel. I'm interested in hearing your thoughts on this set, but 30m is a bit long.
I realize this is good value on paper but just looks and feels like a mess made out of Lego :-/
LEGO: secret hideout
JANG: snipersnest
Guyon Van Oers seems like a snipernest too me
Type of thing I would do lol
Yep
30 minutes?! This is where the fun begins.
But....sand
GENERAL KENOBI
Hello there!
"I hate it when he does that"
Oh, this is going to be easy
I love that they use san green hotdog weeners for lady libertys eye brows😂
Well spotted, didn't notice
And will work nicely for a moldy weiner to put on the floor of my Qwik E Mart. :)
@@bryanjensen355The one Homer ordered in the episode where Apu lost his job :-D...
Fun fact: this set isn't the first they've used sand green hotdogs. I just realized it actually, but they used them for BMO in Lego Dimensions.
Swaggasaurus in Dimensions, BMO's wiener arms were cast in sand blue. Have one on the floor of my Qwik E Mart right now-- which is also sand blue. :)
I cant have enough. I love jangbricks videos. I can listen to this guy talking about LEGO forever.
The fact that there's a duplo killcount board is probably the most wonderfully bonkers detail I've ever seen in a Lego set.
Oh man! Sets like these don't come out often, and you can't get more unique than that! Very thorough as a review, nicely done, Jang!
So glad this review is up! I can't wait to get this set!!
Considering Ninjago City is 4800 pieces for the same price as this, I feel like this should’ve been a little cheaper.
That was a really cheap in price to part
The Ninjago City was only $300 because it had so many of those 2x1 clear blue times for the water. Technically this set is only a little overpriced (should be $275). Ninjago City is underpriced, and Ninjago city used to be $350😐
To be fair, Ninjago city has lots of small pieces (look at the water, a few hundred right there), but yea, I still think its density gives it a better value
Even worse for us brits. The $300 us price translates to about £230, but they are selling it at £280, which is the equivalent of $390. Way overpriced!
Agreed. Yet... they have some licensing fees on this set that they don't on the other.
Nice set. Nice review. I like long in-depth reviews. I started my Saturday morning with this and a big cup of coffee and it was perfect. Your calm and soothing style is much appreciated and a flawless combo with your knowledge, intelligence and the wonderful world of Lego.

Finaly some rotted frankfurters for my Gorden Ramsay moc!
Where's the lamb sauce tho
😂😂😂👌
The comparison in size with other sets is really great ! I hope you will do this in the future for other bigs sets (or even in small sets).
That was a cool set but sadly that is expensive
Well what do you think?
3k Pieces for $300
You get a really nice build and some exclusive parts like that sand green sausages or the welding mask
PFG_Bloxy what he is saying is it’s not worth the price
I love this set! Nice review jang!
yes! finally your review video on this set is out! been waiting long for this :D
I am planning on attempting to build this set with my own pieces and I think that Lego has done a good job with everything in this set!!!!Good review man!!!
I love the dual molding showing up in more figures these days. Lucy's leg assembly is fantastic.
Awesome review Jang! I never spent spent $100 on a single set but I think I got to do it for this one. Going to pick this up and a Saturn V at the end of the year.
Great review, thanks for taking us through all the different areas! :)
I'd love to see some of the 3 in 1builds soon, especially the undersea creatures and the race plane!
I was expecting that you'll point out the sand green sausages immediately, very nice video
This set looks cool. Nice video, you are my favorite LEGO CZcamsr
your voice is sooo relaxing! love this video!
Corner garage next please Jang
Once again a very well made video! I definitely will buy this set.
8:08 Hey! that brown chair is the same build as the green one in the Sanctum Sanctorum Showdown!
You know what, I was kind of iffy about this set idea, but after watching this I was very impressed. I could see this be integrated into new jang city with some modifications, or even in a post apocalyptic moc with almost no modification as a post apocalyptic settlement.
I definitely like this set and wish to get it in the future. The size comparison with other large sets are great.

In order to move on in life, you have to Lego of the past .
slow clap
slow clap
Slow clap
Slow clap
Yes, I would also do that.
Really liked this video keep it up
The structure with the fish is a cat play tower presumably for Ms. Scratchen Post and her pet.
Ugh this is suuuuch a cool set, hoping I can get one while they’re available!
Hi great video and cool Lego stuff
0:16 - 0:23 I love how every Minifig is serious then there’s Emmet smiling
Looks sick!
Hello Jangbricks, what is the large Ship in this video you use to compare the size of apocalypseburg? I hard Never seen it, and found it beautiful for the second it appeared in the video :-) i love your reviews!
From a certain distance and angle the face of Lady Liberty looks so good and perfect.
Man, that Model Team truck reference is a nice touch. Hoped to see some Ice Planet in here; didn't get any love in the first movie.
JANG, if you would like a break between reviewing large sets, I would really appreciate a review of the LEGO CITY Sky Police Parachute Arrest 60208, if you’re willing to dive into the Sky Police sets yet
Can't wait to see this film!!!
Your 'Coffee Unchained' stickers look perfect. I have a small gap nooooo :(
thumbnail was epic!
Harlequin comments.... spot on. .... great review
I just got a *five hour long* Lego Movie 2 ad before this and thought that was the actual length of this video.
In my head I am imagining an apocalyptic diorama formed around this and the Jang Steampunk Death Star :))
Good morning Jang! Just wondering if you have ever glued a build together? If you have what glue did you use?
PS. Love your channel! ❤️
The mention of He-Man reminded me to ask if you’ll be reviewing Mega-Construx’s line of Masters of the Universe.
I wanted to see the Green Lantern ring close up!! I’m sure it’s nothing fancy but I could barely see it in the box!
When hang said that the thing in the safe area looked like an air horn, I thought he was going to blast the MLG air horn meme
Hey Jang, what song did you use in this video? It's real good! :)
One of the best sets !!!!!great job lego
@jangbricks please do a quick comparison of the Batman in this huge set vs the You're Welcome version.
My favourite part of the film was when someone said “the justice league are gone and marvel aren’t returning our calls”
😂
Dude I want this set so much
This is a great looking set, I would love to get it, but I'm torn. Should I get this or the Ninjago city docks first. I already have the Ninjago city and I'll probably get both eventually. What do you think?
I feel like the lady liberty place in the movie, is gonna be like a giant spaceship.
I love the mad max & California Love theme for the set
I like it how he calls it LADY LIBERTY!!!
Scribble cop reminds me of that gang cop in Mad Max road warrior
Jang! one of the crown pieces is slightly bent under lady liberty's arm! im worried about it being under too much stress
That is totally epic! Can you make a video of the statue of liberty rebuilt with the full legs and base?
@JANGBRiCKS, Would you recommend picking up Joker Manor(70922) or Apocalypseburg (70840), if you have to pick up one?
Now this is epic
We want the Corner Garage Review!! Why is it so late :(
The lego dimensions reference hurt so much
This is awesome
" You maniacs! You done it! You blew it up! "
I love this set mostly the Minifigures
Hello I'm a big fan
Can someone tell what are the sets Jang compares to the statue of liberty at the beginning?
Very cool, Now maybe its time for TLG to make some Mad Max or Fallout sets based on some of the armor pieces etc.
I want some one to make the lady of liberty fully fixed that would be good
Do you think you could do surfer Dave's camper build??
On harlequins shirt it says daddy’s little monster I have heard that before
I really want this!
I went to the Lego store yesterday to get this but after seeing it in person (they have it on display) I fell out of love with it. For some reason I just didn't like it after seeing one in person. And can you imagine dusting this? It's a cool set but I decided to pass on it. Oh well, it saved me $300.
Green lantern's alternate face xD
This set makes me want to make the Plastic Beach from Gorillaz. That'd be a lot of exclusively pink colored brick link orders.
Me:plays fallout 4
Also me:sees this set
Also also me: asks mom to buy it and says I have a lot of legos
Again me: why do we have to stay here just to suffer
Would have liked to have seen the design on the shield that is on the training dummy / mannequin in the armory. Can anybody describe what it looks like?
why didn't you use the jang cam for getting a minifig eye view
Bad Cop returning is great, but IMDB doesn't have Liam Neeson returning. I am so confused.
That probably means he won’t be a big part of the movie.
Sadly he doesn't have a role in the movie now.
Seen this set in the toy shop a few times. Nobody ever buys it though; too expensive. It’d be weird to see someone walking out with it.
Jangbricks, why LEGO doesn’t make bigger play sets with plate bases for its Star Wars line? I used to play with the old Castle theme from the late 80s and early 90s and it has amazing play sets. It’s because people don’t buy and LEGO prefers to make ships and vehicles?
Bad cop is literally looks like mad Max’s police team in the first movie
Wish they had this when I was a kid
i like how normal u went threw the review in a set thats nemed "welcome to apocalypseburg"
Reminds me Mad Max. Especially Larry :-D
the suicide sqaud movie was only pg-13 like most movies they make sets for, so as long as they don't say suicide in a set then it should be fine. like that harleyquinn bike chase. was bassicaly a suicide sqaud set having a less accurate harley quinn figure and dead shot and movie batman!
How much would you have to add to build a full size Statue of Liberty? Would 2 sets do it?
I think maybe 3 minimum just by looking at it but I wouldn't go off what I say though. Someone will do it eventually

Doctor "You have 30 Minutes and 6 Seconds to live"
Me clicks on this video
why did i get a 5 hour long lego movie 2 ad
It was the whole movie
1:28 obi wan *hears this * obi wan wants to know your location
It reminds me of the Columbis stacks from ready player one
The coffee shop is serving a Crisp Rat
it would be a complete waste for this not to go into the Mellanby District in SOME capacity. !t's just too perfect.
