westbrabantrally (netherlands). About 20 years ago .don`t know the exact year. Professional photographer stood at the outside of a corner, got hit when the car went out of control. From where we were standing we could not see they hit the guy. Was fun to see at first until the driver and co pilot and got out of their car and both started running towards the photographer. The panic was visible from a mile away and everybody in the crowd realised at that point something really bad had happened. The photographer survived with a broken hip.
Tanak 2020 Montecarlo crash
Your narration is truly awful and beyond annoying. We can see what’s going on, you don’t have to describe every second. I couldn’t take it anymore after barely a minute. Next time, do us all a favor and just shut the F up.
The most painful part of all this was the narration........
True but at least he said "rallying" and not "rally"....
Agreed
Sounds like AI
Yeah, I knew 2 seconds in that the video would be absolute garbage.
That what I was going to say. I couldn’t make it a minute.
Instructions for a propper rally vídeo
1- pure engine sound
2- dont talk
100% !!!
3 - Show really the worst crashes!
Propper 🤔😂
Commentary is really irritating!
agreed. he ruined the video
2:34 That photographer is a legend!!! Car hits the strap on his camera yet he STILL gets the shot.... I REALLY want to see that picture!!!!!
absolutely unreal how calm he was! A legend indeed haha
Respect for pronouncing Finnish names 100% perfect
Good thrilling and very crazy driving!
Who is this commentator? He does love superlatives doesn't he? Outrageous, ridiculous, incredible, unbelievable. He asks what we think, we think he should SHUT UP! Every event seems to be THE MOST SPECTACULAR! And somehow they escaped uninjured, that's how the cars are designed, to protect the occupants.
Pretty sure is AI which explains the shitness
@@dominicpeters7476 You can hear the narrator's intake of breath. AI doesn't do that.
@@geoffreypiltz271 That’s interesting I never knew that, just bad narrating then
@@geoffreypiltz271 Yes, it can do that
That “badly placed” hay bale stopped the driver from hitting a pair of trees at full speed. It was precisely there for a reason.
Right? Like what the hell is he talking about unfortunately placed 😂
I’ll never forget that audio from Travis pastrana, he said are you alive, are you alive, co driver says yes, Travis goes whoooooo hell of a ride 😂😂.
Petter Solberg & Phil Mills did not go into the ditch at Rallye Germany 2004 - they hit a Concrete Barrier designed to keep 65 ton tanks on the road - a Hinkelstein.
Thanks. Save me saying it 😅
The second one is like the cameraman never dies😂
The "unfortunately placed hay bale" at 5:40 was placed there purposely to save a driver and co-drivers life... as it did!
thats right, but it was still a bit to far on the street.
in the video it looks like she would have missed the tree, if the hay bale was not there.
they should place it more in front of the tree, it was kinda in a bad spot intefering with the track.
True
There was a lot of worse accidents than we have seen here, for example these ones here.
1 - 2011 Ronde di Andora, Robert Kubica
2 - 1986 Tour de Corse, Henri Toivonen & Sergio Cresto
3 - 1986 Rally Portugal, Joaquim Santos, crashed into a crowd of people
4 - 2023 Rally Serras de Fafe, Armindo Araujo
5 - 2003(?) Rally Argentina, Markko Martin
6 - 2009 Rally Portugal, JM Latvala
7 - 2021 Sliven Rally, Ugur Soylu
8 - 2012 Rallye de France-Alsace, Nasser Al-Attiyah
We'll make sure to add some of these in the next Rally video, thanks!
9- 2023 ERC, Islas Canarias,Csomós Miklós
10 - 2022 ERC Barum Rally, Csomós Miklós
Kubica bravo👏
Finally after 3 month's of looking for the craziest non-fatal rally car crashes with all the related angles as well...THANK YOU SO MUCH 😊
5:31 Unfortunately placed hay bail? Are you kidding? If you had a bullet proof vest on and it stopped a bullet, would you criticise your vest for being "unfortunately placed" because you broke a rib? If you actually knew your rallying history better, you would know that cars going head on or sideways into trees is almost always Tree 1, Car and Driver Nil. Peter Brock, for example, lost his life at Targa Tasmania when he went into a tree. If there had been one of those "unfortunately placed" hay bails in front of that tree, Brock would still be with us today. Bottom line - that hay bail did precisely the job it was put there for. To absorb energy and disperse it. Molly can thank the person who had enough foresight and experience to put it there in the first place.
cant agree more, look at craig breen last year, not seen footage and i dont want but i believe it was sideways into a tree, this bloke is an idiot and uneducated in rallying i think
Actually it was Targa West Rally around Perth that Brocky was killed on. Always remember it because I was the Emergency Services Manager on the event and suffice to say it was a really bad day.
Great videos, spoilt by boring, inaccurate commentary.
Good thrilling and very crazy driving!
@@ChaOzTheory Cool driving. very good👍☺❤
@@ChaOzTheory If memory serves, Solberg's crash occurred on a military base (parts of that rally went through them) and hit a Hinkelstein - an anti tank barrier - so hard it shifted. That is what caused the incredible spin roll and destruction of the car. It wasn't a country road and wasn't a ditch.
Not a talk show. Engine sound is a part of the action. Imagine someone explaining the action in a movie 😢
Should have gone to Specs Savers! The Toyota going off the edge on the long right-hander was in fact a Nissan 240RS.
Yeah, BUT. Car No 15 in the 1986 Welsh Rally was Simon Davidson, yes in a Nissan 240RS....except he finished 6th, so it wasn't him at the bottom of the mountain! So if this was a Nissan (as the footage seems to be) and car No 15, it wasn't on the 1986 Welsh Rally!
200 year old "terribly placed tree"🤣
great video
Shows the incredible engineering of the cars safety features.
Yet the cars regular people drive around crush to a cube and turn you into a paste
You filmed this on my birthday 🎂
Im really shocked that the 2022 rally arvika crash its not here!. But otherwise nice video!
Thanks 😢
The narrator says at about 1:30 in video at first wreck driver is going into a RIGHT HANDER.... He MIGHT WANT TO LOOK AGAIN.... LOLOL 😅
Whenever someone writes EVER you know it's BS.
Please can you do the worst Rallycross crashes ever?
Camera man never dies
The cameraman never dies
fr
And these aren't the worst rally crashes ever. I've been fortunate enough never to witness anything worse than a minor "off".
But the worst rally crashes that spring to my mind are all from the 1980s. Ari Vatenan in Argentina. Henri Toivenen in Corsa. And the accident in Portugal in 1986, when a car (the driver of which I cannot recall) went off into a crowd of spectators.
the driver in Portugal accident was local driver Joaquim Santos
It’s amazing the difference between F1 and Rally track safety.
The safe areas in Rallying are in side the taped area, the VERY DANGEROUS bits are outside the taped area, so easy 👍👍👍👍👍
ImpreTza
You keep saying that bits of the scenery were badly or unfortunately placed. They were there first and were not to blame. The drivers were simply going too fast for the conditions.
i love rally
somebody count how many times he said, ''in WRC history.''
Petter Solbergs crash in Germany 2004 was caused by going wide and hitting the hinklesteins which keep tanks on the road. They caused the initial damage. Lucky to be alive both Petter and Phil.😊
You missed two more crashes which are Colin McRae in GB Wale and Tommi Makinken in Croatia
2:50 cameramen never dies
Anstatt das pausenlose Gequatsche, wäre der Originalton weitaus besser geeignet, damit man sich das Video bis zum Schluss ansehen mag!
Bro really left both of the ott tänak crashes out
thumbs down for narration
That mishap on the Canary Isles Rally into the armco showed what the barrier can do. The barrier did *exactly what it was designed to do* - it dissipated energy by breaking its supports while keeping the car at least mostly on the road.
Gryazin crash wasn't into a "badly placed metal fence"...it's a bridge guardrail...
Can’t listen, makes my ears bleed 🙉 sounds special
1:56 oh no he rolling 😂
The photographer wow wow after that he continued his job
How about Colin Mcrea crashes?
Its an Imprezza, not an Impretsa.
and with only 1 z = not two ! impreza
Whens episode 3 of most horrorific f1 crashes
Not confirmed yet, but we'll try to make it happen in not too long!
Why have you cut all the clips off?
Switched off when I realised the commentary was staying on.
lol the camera-man never dies
It's due to the grace of God and Jesus that everyone is safe and sound I
10:58 - Yes, our tiny Dutch rivers.
3:02 bro really took a picture
No such thing as a badly placed tree, metal railings.
For the new subarus 2014- present isn't an impreza. It's either wrx/ or wrx sti. Impreza is its own model
I want to know who built that wall at 2:34, and shake his hand. Not a scratch on it with that huge impact.
Is that your voice or did you hire a Narrator?
9:01 Nissan RS driven by Jason Humble. Happened on the 1st stage. When he climbed to to the top he was asking if anyone had a spare car he could borrow.
If it was it wasn't the 1986 welsh rally. No Jason Humble in a nissan 240RS entered and certainly not at car no15.
Glad you didnt use any lethal crashes here. But you did infact misplace a couple of your top 20s id say. Ken Block for one had a huge crash with his Ford Escort Rs in 2018. It was totaled with one impact and went up into flames almost instantly. Ken and his codriver came out okay but the car which was his favorite was nothing but a bent frame after.
AI script? Best watched with sound off.
This is proof some guys should rally ,others should take pictures, where people’s lives are not in danger,,,
Where did they get the commentator from? Sounds like a children's TV show!
I reamber watching the worst one the reason the car got so damaged was there was anti tank concrete blocks al down the side of the road left over from the war and the Subaru roll over the top of them the car just folded up
Great narration. Keep it up
They have invented drones that are able to keep up and even outrun F1 cars for the purpose of filming them.. I can't wait until they start using them in sports like Rally racing. These things have a blistering speed while recording top notch video, they go from 0-60 in like a half second, they're insane.
the safety barrier is mounted "on hinges"?
17:48 wasn't Travis Pastrana a nascar driver before?
Is the narrator ok
The way you narrate this indicates that you know very little about rally driving/spectating
I suspect it's AI.
The more spectacular rollover crashes cause less harm to the occupants as the stored kinetic energy is dissipated over a longer time frame. It's sudden stops (deceleration) which are more likely to result in worse outcomes. That's why most motor sport governing bodies have mandated the use of the Hans device. Ask Kenny Bräck.
10 minutes it is not a 206 wrc...
This shows the importance of a PROPER roll cage in a car. If any of those cars had a cage with poor welds in it the driver and navigator would not have survived. If you go racing don't have your buddy build the cage for you unless they are a certified welder.
20mins and not ONE Colin McCrae crash!!!
Idk how but I had a dream of Travis pastranas wreck in this video but at the time of the dream I hadn’t seen that wreck but it was the same car and wreck in the dream I find it really odd
Petter Solberg's crash was not caused by running into a ditch. The German countryside is littered with hinkle stones (AKA Dragon's Teeth or bollards), large stones of reinforced concrete lined up along roadway edges to deter military tanks from crossing open fields, damaging private property or farmland. He struck the first stone, causing tremendous damage to the front of the car (and breaking the windshield) then the momentum of the car caused it to flip over and bounce along the stones, smashing the roll cage in above Phill Mills' head. The car was a total write-off, and from the video you can see why.
2:40 LOL!!!
the photographer is an inch from becoming lasagna and he just casually takes a picture of the completely demolished car a second later...
I agree with the other comments, far too much talking, ruins the video
1:30 That's a lefthander for the driver.
You totally missed the accident Ari Vatanen was in in Argentina 1985. He barely survived.
"Saved the best to last" and then dont actually show the accident........DOH!!!
100 Achre Wood? Hope Winnie-the Pooh and Co are alright?
Ever heard of pure sound? Your videos might be worth watching with it. Give it a try
Trees always win. ALWAYS.
i can see what is happening on screen, thanks for stating the obvious, never again!
The 964 could slow down in time it just LOCKED UP. This guy skimmed a few articles about wrc and said sure.
SHUT UP AND LET THE ENGINES SPEAK!
Worst Rally Crashes EVER????????????????
WRC is easily the best of the best motor sport events, just by driving on roads used by every other road user uses makes it exciting. But unlike track motor sport events it's not clinically assisted by purpose build run off areas and padded crash barriers. In WRC you crash it's more often then not a serious crash, but thanks to a safer cockpit area drivers have been made safer. It's like F1 on speed.
Your going to drive like lightning but you’re going to crash like thunder
What a 🔔 end of a monotone commentator. He doesn't know his arse from his elbow, let alone his left from his right! 🤬
You missed the ott tänak 2020 crash
Travis was told to go right when he was meant to say easy left then right so he hit the bank
That hay bail was placed in front of a tree for obvious reasons.
You sound just like The Magic Skeptic
Molly's crash was the event holders fault. She was still on line for a decent turn but whoever put the hay bail there is supposed to make sure it's not in the racing line. It should have been lashed to the tree next to it facing the racing line and toward the actual track. Molly would have driven out of it for sure except for the hay bail. She got hosed imo.
Mayor of Yappingville
jari matti latvala in portugal 2009 has to be the greatest crash in wrc history
1.25 speed save some headache
1995 Rally of the Lakes not Rally Ireland 😂
3 is not a insane number of times 🤣
Ott Tänak 2015 rally mexiko into lake, ott tänak 2020 monte carlo, adrian fourmaux monte carlo 2022
