I was in Iraq for this season. Just my luck...but I'm proud we had a season like this. I'll miss Jason Witten for sure.

Miss this crew
No REAL fan can be disappointed with what this team did in 2016. Despite losing our leader, and star QB, Tony Romo, we didn't collapse into despair. We saddled up the next man up and rode Dak Prescott to a 13-3 regular season, won the NFC East AND had the second best record in the NFL.
Yeah it sucked that we lost again in the 1st round of the playoffs, but let's be honest. You see Romo writhing on the turf during that preseason game against Seattle. WHO THOUGHT ABOUT THE PLAYOFFS??? Who thought we were going to have a winning season? Who thought this team would win more than 4-5 games without Romo, behind a rookie 4th round pick?
This team has tremendous upside for 2017. Loaded on the offensive side of the ball and now that we've swept out the trash at the corners, we're ready to see what defensive gems we selected this year will bloom and take this team back to the top!!!!

Rhey Almighty I am honestly thinking this year is the year. I am a huge fan but never think they will pull it off. That is until I saw the second half of the 2018 season. 2019/2020 is the most talented dallas team I have seen since the 90’s superbowl teams. Make the most of it boys, Jerry isn’t getting any younger. I am slightly frustrated with zeke though. I understand you deserve to be paid for your action on the field but off the field you have not been that great. Most of it was harmless but still. To hold out when this could be your chance to win a SB and get an even bigger contract next year? Think about it man. Emmitt held out after the superbowl because he deserve every penny of it. Even if you don’t make the superbowl you go out there and do what you do best and you will get your money. Being apart of a SB teams with amazing stats will feed you for life with sponsors past your football career as opposed to somebody giving you the food themselves now. Classic give somebody a fish they eat for a day, teach them to fish and they are fed for a lifetime dilemma. I know zeke won’t-go full Bell though. If he does he ought to be ashamed of himself for letting Jerry stick his neck out for him multiple times. Jerry could have been forced to sell the cowboys because of what he did for zeke so it would be a good riddance moment for me with zeke if he does do something like that. Stay out of trouble for this season, go out there and eat, and then you will get the money you want ya knuckle head.!

It was really depressing to lose to the Greenbay but this was an amazing season for them and hopefully it will probably continue for years to come. How bout them cowboys!

rsizzle21 most cowboys fans realize the situation they are in but don’t care because they love their team. Is there anything wrong with that. This is the first time I have ever said this I swear to god but the 2019/2020 season has the most talented group offensively and defensively I have seen since the 90’s Super Bowl teams. So ai think they have a good shot this year if they play it smart. Not to mention the coaching staff is also full of young coaches who have proved themselves worthy.

Don’t think this is the best, because we lost our Divisional round playoff game. I say this season was tied with 2007 for the best season this century.
This season was the most important one in Dallas history. It shows that even with a rookie 4th round QB and with a rookie rb we CONQUERED THE NFL
Sitting here reminiscing,wondering if they can ever get back to this level. Dominated the NFL, #1 seed, best oline in the NFL. This team felt complete. Crazy how much can change in 5 years

The most obvious thing (other than a good, healthy OL) is that Zeke has lost about a half step per season since then. Maybe he actually did go back and watch the tape because it looks like he's trying to get his "quicks" back. I think he'd be better served running wind sprints and resistance running to try and build power, also because he's not getting that speed back. And it's amazing that team did as well as it did with Mo Claiborne on it.
That season was something special and went down hill from there

As rough as the next two seasons were I consider them both pretty good seasons. You learned how to face adversity in 2017 which helped you out immensely in the future. In 2018 you did the same thing and rallied back. Congrats boys because you now have the best Cowboys team I have seen since the 90’s SB teams. Make the most of it. Make cowboy nation proud regardless of what the haters say.

I actually didn't think they played all that badly, considering what a hot streak Rodgers was on at the time.. they weren't great by any means but I feel the Brice Butler BS call and the slow offensive start was the biggest problem.

They need to come out sharp in the playoffs next season playing like they did against Pittsburgh, they came out flat against green bay. But if they manage to step up the game prep and get a few playmakers on their defense, they could be legit superbowl contenders next year imo.

False ,Butler is very inconsistent...he has dropped end zone catches and also missed a key end zone pass in the playoff game against greenbay that could have potentially won the game
Refs also called BS calls and missed others, potentially costing us the game. You can't predict what's going to happen in the NFL on any given game. One TD is great, and looking at the final score, would have won us the game, but in reality, who knows what could've happened.
