I love seeing the Executor 2 on the table. In a standard game, it's too bad the SSD essentially has to choose between getting a salvo with LFC or taking Gunnery Teams.
This was a lot of fun for us to get on the table. The genesis of it goes back to the Starhawk vs Super Star Destroyer episode in which we were talking about the "Prototype SSDs" not feeling powerful enough. - Ken
This one game of armada I played I had my Salvo build CIS providence with thermal shields park directly infront of a prototype SSD and single handedly almost 1v1 'ed it. It couldn't move, was throwing 5 to 6 dice a round, and I had Wat Tambor just pumping my shields up. It was great
Those hawks don't look so powerful against the almighty SSD do they? I think the answer to John's GenCon Starhawk list is a 600 point Executor. LOL. Thank you for the support as always, Maxwell! - Ken
Any chance you guys ever make either your own commanders or a small "commander character generation sheet" This way there would be more generic commanders.
We don't plan on making custom commanders. But if that's something you are looking for you should look at rebellion in the rim. They have custom commanders and a list of skills in the rule book. But be warned they do not tend to be balanced.-John
No doubt. Wanted to try a more thematic list though for fun. The Executor class though is what a Super Star Destroyer SHOULD feel like. Also forgot an A-wing. :) - Ken
