@@jal8822 Already saw em in Denver back in November. I was playing along with sonny at the front of the balcony when he looked up and saw me air bass-ing along. He nodded at me, winked, and proceeded to solo with Cory. Life changing moment.

If somebody would have told me circa 1994, when i was binge watching the Beautiful Experience VHS, that in 30 years or so, i'd be laughing my ass off at Sonny T killing it in rehearsal with a dope instrumental band on a free online video platform... well, i guess i wouldn't have been able to figure out what that'd even have meant back then LOL

Their rehearsal sounds better than most (almost all?) finished products.
It also cracks me up that Cory feels compelled to make sure he laughs...INTO the mic.

Lotta people unaware that Michael has a concealed carry permit for his trombone!

Fabian, in the US citizens can keep loaded weapons on their person in public. (I will self-censor any commentary beyond that which you’ve asked.) So my angular attempt at humor was comparing Michael’s considerable chops like a weapon. He could pull out his instrument from beneath his jacket at anytime if he thought someone needed a quick music fix.

I was so bummed that the show was postponed in Toronto tomorrow ... while I understand and agree, it would have been an awesome show. So nice to post the rehearsal today.
I swear Petar and Cory have the same dynamic my drummer and I have. Played with the cat since his first drumset about 15 years ago, a little mini-set for kids. We played Sabbath and Rush like mad back then. I wish we still had that set, just for shits and giggles

Regarding body language. Audiences listen with their eyes. What you said about showcasing particular players is spot on. If you want the audience to pick up on a certain voice/feature/solo - I have found the visual presentation matters
