ABAD Green Forest - one of the best and budget friendly resort in Thekkady, Kerala. It is suitable for honeymoon couples, family groups and also for bachelors. This hill station resort in Thekkady has 2 category rooms namely jungle cottage and jungle rooms. The main highlights of the resort are the beautiful swimming pool, beautifully maintained garden and tasty Kerala cuisines. They also have an Ayurveda treatment centre called the Revival where Doctors and trained therapists are available.
We had a breakfast in the resort and went for boating. It was a wonderful day and had a very good trip. The boating made me feel relaxed and the love for nature will never fade.

The summer palace inside the Periyar tiger reserve which you saw while boating is ktdc lake palace and the rate is 10000 for 2 persons including breakfast,lunch and dinner for one day.
