These people were hired for a dance scene but had NO idea it was for the Borat movie, or what would happen in the scene. So the people leaving are actual reactions of them leaving to go get their phones to leave

The sad thing about this scene, is the editing. We as an audience cannot tell if this is scripted or played up for the cameras. Borat 2 was not needed to keep the illusion alive.

The scene probably communicates the attitude of Americans about the periods thing, as in, How they hold periods against women. as if it is their own fault. they connect the "menstrual cycle" with women's ability to do well in governance. hence the girl in the movie says at the end of the dance performance " daddy, why do American men hate me?"

@@patc2796 Nah. Borat has always had a political message. While some of it is pure shock value, the core of it is for people to reveal their prejudices. Even Sasha Baron Cohen says this and that his work demonstrates the indifference towards bigotry in American society. Why else do you think the original film ends with a call for the audience to vote?

@@andrewforeman2168 Comedy is a subjective thing, I howled so much that my dog left the room in disgust. It's Baron Cohen's métier to push the boundaries of comedy further than anyone has before.
I personally think he's produced some of the most hilarious moments at the same time as asking intelligent questions about racism, intolerance, anti-Semitism, sexism, homophobia etc.
