As i understand they really spread out so that they can face all the fans from different sides of the stage, then they all go to the middle to dance together and spread out again.

Before you criticize how they’re performing, this is very likely several songs in, where they HAVE already spent a lot of energy on choreo; they have to pace themselves, so, they perform some of their songs without the choreo; they also spread out like that so the massive fandom can see them at closer range - note how massive the stage is. They don’t have openers- they perform for 3 hours every concert. They’re not going to do 3 hours of choreo, it’s common sense!
Btw, Jimin is always at the front of the iconic ‘Fire’ dance part (including in the mv), so I have no idea why that surprises you?!
Ignore the glasses guy who was talking out of his ass. They have to freestyle sometimes inorder to spice things up. They can't be doing hardcore choreography all the time for hours in eqch concerts and even when they freestyle, it's not easy because they still exert too much energy.
His lazy ass is on the couch criticising as if he can do the easiest BTS choreography like Go Go.

BTS are those legendary performers which happen to take place once in our lifetime, and trust me when I say this I really MEAN it, they love their ART, they love their MUSIC, they live their FANS, and just to inform you guys that BTS might not have those luxurious high fashioned music videos, but there's a reason to that, their mvs mostly has a storyline which is continuous throughout their mvs, so there's no place of flexing of money and lavish lets in their mvs, but they do have some mvs which don't belong to their storyline such as their latest english trilogy, they're just some fun songs made to cheer up ARMY during pandemic, but trust me they're so LEGENDARY, they're so down to earth, never taken the love and fame for granted which I love about them, they're seriously at the TOP of music industry still you will never hear a single flex from their mouths, anyways if I have to write about this i'll have to write more essays lol, but thank you for giving them a chance and their music, please check out more of their live performances and concerts, i'm sure you will love them, lots of love💜💜💜💜💜

'Run BTS' is a recent song by them released in 2022. The 'Run' you heard a part of is a song from 2015.
They also have a variety show called 'Run BTS' where they play games, do missions and have rewards and penalties. Its very entertaining and fun. Its astonishing what BTS would do for a 50 dollar gift card😂😂

the girl sitting on the floor commented,"...why do they spread out on the stage?"...well, they do that throughout the whole show because they know the ARMYs want to see them, they go around the whole stage, you can notice all their shows. And at the end they go from end to end of the stage to say goodbye to that Army that is in the corner of the stands at the show, and a way for them to be grateful that the ARMYs are always by their side supporting them.
You’ll never catch BTS slacking and when they do (bc they’re not feeling well) they are super apologetic about it, they value army’s support, time and money.
Also, they need these “freestyle” moments because they put on an almost 3 hours concert, they’re on tour for several months, it’s their time to rest a little from choreography.
You guys are right about the live concerts. When you are there - it's great when they spread out because each section gets to see a member close up. They move around quite a bit so that no section gets neglected. But it's also great when they come back together for the choreo numbers.
You mentioned during fire how they are spread out then boom back into formation. Effective way to change up the song for the fans and this time showcase their in sync choreography.
Your friend 5th from left is correct. They need to play to that huge space, they have to move around and interact. AND rest :) too. They can't always be up under each other or doing the song choreography that we know (and love).
Back when BTS first debut we got to see JK work out on a tread mill, where he would sing. If you watch BTS compared to other singers/dancers. They are singing while moving. You can hear their breathing when they are singing while performing. Also, other artists might dance a moment in the performances but their background dancers do most of the dancing, while BTS does all the performance/dancing with the background dancers are joining them. Last, BTS are professional dancers, they dance at the same level as their background dancers. Now, other groups are working out on tread mills to also be able to dance and sing at the same time, so they can perform at the same level as BTS.
They always have packed choreo so they move around freely in between to kinda cool off but they still go hard their dedication is insane breaks are also needed and thanks for the reaction

Their live performances are so so amazing. Literally the best I've seen, the energy is unmatched. And yes!! A full concert reaction would be so fun, idk which one to recommend though

They were all spread out because they have two stages and a runway so they can interact with more of their fans. They play in arenas with 50-100K in attendance. They also use extensive camera work to bring them closer to everyone. Plus, their shows are almost three hours long. They can’t do choreo for the entire time.
As for their mics/earpieces, they match them and have different colors to help tell them apart, plus they all chose their colors for a particular reason. Most don’t use those sets now, though. Those are mostly in the HYBE museum (which is currently closed while they move it to a new location.)
Fire and Run after each other is a tough set list!

Yes, you have reacted to Run BTS, and now you heard Run (by BTS). Their Variety Show is also called RUN BTS. Usually, when they go on tour they perform songs from their latest album with full choreography. But in between, they do a medley of older songs with less emphasis on choreo and more on freestyle engagement with the crowd, so they can also partially catch their breath.
