- A desolate post-apocalyptic city where life once flourished. A gloomy ambient composition filled with various eerie and sometimes futuristic sounds.
A few words from the author: I dedicated this channel to the dark and dystopian side of ambient music. Here you will find such moods of ambient music as cinematic ambient music, dark ambient music, meditative ambient music, cyberpunk ambient music, sci-fi ambient music, futuristic ambient music. Most often in my compositions I use rain sounds, hypontic drones, deep soundscapes, and various synthesized sound effects. You can use my music as ambient music for sleep, ambient music for meditation, ambient music for reading, ambient music for studying and ambient music for work.

Nice apocalyptic place .
Воркута или Норильск
I can never get enough of post apocalyptic ambiances, they always draw me right in
Same here.
I love the fact that even here there are lights on. That's more eerie than it being abandoned altogether.
Yes 100% thinking the same
Makes me think the homeless are in there, but why so high up in a crumbling building? Very eerie. Reminds me of the start of TLOU.
I was also thinking the same@@averagedusty
It’s the survivors, the remnants of humanity after that fateful day. They survive away from the bandits down on the streets below. Thieves don’t like to waste energy climbing stairs that high. If the survivors living up so high are lucky, they’ve snagged a generator, or even better, solar panels for electricity, meaning they don’t have to venture out as often for food. They can power sort of mini-greenhouses, maybe even lights. The threat of dehydration lingers, however; they have to venture out through the streets to the river at some point.
Yeah, of course.
That light reminds me 28 days later where a family survives in a building of an abandonned london
based 28 Days Later enjoyer. that whole setup was top comfy to me
Leaved & worked 2 years in London. I felt the most loneliness. You can die on the streets. Nobody bothers. Awful colleagues. Happy when I left the UK. Never again.
@@DJLABYRINTH74 i hope your life is better now, wish you the best
My eye falls on those lighted windows... who takes refuge in there?? In my channel I'm using VCV Rack a lot, to create these metal sounds, with wavetables etc... great inspiration!!
Those ruins serve as monuments in remembrance of something that was forgotten long ago.
Those who lived among these colossal and decadent statues were ingenious indeed, but also arrogant enough to believe that their archivements would last forever.
Now, no trees nor birds visit the once so-called City, and the moon looks at it down, for only her knows the terrible secret.
Another fantastic dystopian paradise. The soothing sounds of desolation and emptiness. I can feel the lost souls embarking on their never ending journey through torment.
I really enjoy your creations.
Kowloon Walled City vibes
Big Half Life 2 vibes, i like it!
Спасибо что Вы существуете! Супер.
Love this kind of ambience👌👍😃
RIght music for the end of the day. Fantastic mix, fantastic (as always) graphics/covers.
Love the visual!
would be nice to have a live concert with this sound
Cool, these videos are great for my book-reading, thanks
This is amazing. If you're up for requests, I'd love a Dystopian, apocalyptic ambience that's similar to the NYC Times Square scene from I AM LEGEND. That abandoned, rusted, dirty, unmaintained city look and vibe it gives off is amazing to me. Would greatly appreciate something like that. If not, that's fine. Thought I would throw that out there. Keep it up, man.
Times Square was my stomping ground. Used to be, you’d get up (or continue to be up) at four o’clock in the AM and you passed through the area on your way to somewhere else (fingers crossed), you’d find just such a scene. Anytime after midnight, actually. And during the daylight hours, come to think of it. Ditto for the twilight hours. That left only a few hours between the gloom and the full dark which were tolerable, no more than that. Hey, even zombies have got to chill. Then they went in there with a mop and a GIANT bottle of disinfectant and cleaned house. Lost most of the zombies and all of its charm. … sigh.
Great videos, thank you. One wish I have is for them to be a bit longer, even looped for 2-3 hours. And yes I know you can do this on YT vids. Anyway, great work and thanks again.
Hello.... hellooooooo
Where do you get the art for these? They're amazing and combine so well with the sound.
"We got to travel it, and there ain't nobody knows where it's gonna lead. Still in all, every night we does the tell so that we 'member who we was and where we came from. But most of all we 'members the man who finded us, him that came to salvage. And we lights the city, not just for him, but for all of him that are still out there." - Savannah Nix of The Lost Tribe.
🖤
In a post apocalyptic world I simply will not survive. Lets be honest. I'd be screwed.
My last words would be
"I'm sorry I could not protect the tribe. I tried to craft some weapons, but you were bitching at me about the noise."
Anyone else get a cheery ad right before this video, and say "come on! enough of these happy ads - let's get to the gloom!"
looks like a nuke went off
Судя по свету в окнах - не такой уж и заброшенный.
It appears I no longer possess the patience needed to weave together such slow, droning soundscapes. I made quite a few when I was much younger and some were really good, FM synthesis and layering of voices was always the name of the game for me. But it's difficult for me to go back to this now. Almost every ambient track I wrote in the last 15 years at one point had to have a strong, central rhythmic part somewhere in the middle. Each time I play this kind of stuff to help me go to sleep I become aware of those limitations, and I'm not sure what to do to get back that mood. It could be because I no longer smoke marijuana which I did pretty regularly back in the day. Tried edibles but I guess they take time getting used to 🙂
Look up/google the "POTV One", tobacco and / or normal weed, vaped so none of the nasties. I am a musician, I hear you. Sometimes I listen to a track I wrote a few years back and wonder how the hell I wrote it and why I cant repeat it in that manner, but the trick is just to keep going forward, and you will bump into that feeling again along the way. I have started in excess of 200 songs over the last 20 years, completed 44, I don't play them publicly or anything like that, I never presumed them worthy enough, but its the doing that counts when you are a creative person. We can't all be Van Gough nor Trent Reznor, try as I may. But the trying is the important part.
Best wishes.
So this is what things may look like within a few months, homely.
hmm.. reminds me of that small city that where built to sustain a fluke discovered rich coal mine... that was just a tiiiiiiiny bit of bed rock sticking up from the ocean floor in the middle of the ocean.. flourished like a crazy little pillar of society in nowhere while the mine hade plenty..
last i heard its just a dystopian worthy extremely compact ruin of a few high rises with hospital school etc packed together as a micro cosmos of what a 'lightly populated suburb' of a true planet spanning cosmopolis might look like if de-populated through war or famine... that one enters at your own risk since decades of sea air+storms = dont touch that concrete
Heavy missiles were launched to here...
Були потужні прильоти. Але все ще в деяких хатах горить світло.
GAZA 2023 😞🙏
