Just remember who came back from mental health problems. He still suffers with anxiety and bipolar and to get knocked down so hard on the ninth and still be standing. Take some more of a man than anybody.
â@@NorthernAtlantic1980s That whole mental health story was cooked up by Fury to duck the Klitschko rematch and "retire" because he was about to be sanctioned for failing drug tests.
â@@NorthernAtlantic1980sMost boxers suffer from mental health problems. You think Ali or Tyson had it easy? You think Usyk is at peace with all that's going on in his country? Fury needs accountability, plain and simple. We loved him at his peak and now he needs to learn how to lose like a man. I've had enough of this tomfoolery
Credit to both fighters, Usyk undoubtedly goes down as this generationâs greatest Heavyweight!
Well yeah, beaten AJ twice and now unified after beating Fury...did it with no smoke and mirrors, no PR stunts, no shit talk, no chest beating, he just fights everybody and finds a way to win no matter what.
I would say he may be the greatest heavyweight ever. Olympicgold, cruiserweight undisputed, heavyweight undisputed, undefeated. How many times have people written him off because of his size. He makes up all of it by his genius. Very well may be the greatest heavyweight of all time

Youâre talking shit, Iâm from England and was in a bar full of Americans and Latino Americans for the first eight rounds. They were silent and worried and they screamed and jumped out of the chairs when Tyson was being battered hanging onto the ropes and once he survived They were silent until the decision was made by the judges, everybody knows that man has the heart of a lion and even in the darkest moments people like you could never do what this man has done suffering with mental health, addiction anxiety I know exactly what that is like being a former British servicemen and having to cope with today and the struggle is it brings . You could see how much Tyson rocked Usyk, but because of the weight difference, Usyk was able to have more endurance
Absolutely deluded these guys thinking fury won first 6 rounds wow
He won like 4 overall
He did. Uysk won by a couple of points it was straight down the middle. But Uysk did win because of the knockdown. Needs a rematch, but the right man won.

@Lightworker-ye4nv the big dosser luke fury got rocked so hard by a Blown up middleweight that he was wishing everyone a happy new year in may.
And this is exactly the problem with boxing he says scoring is subjective utter nonsense itâs corrupt to the core. Ursyk utter class đđŒ
At 0:52, he says ''when the guy don't touch the canvas''. Fury doesn't touch the canvas because the referee, for some unknown reason, stops the fight before Usyk can finish him off. It was bizarre. The referee gave him a count before he had hit the canvas. He should have stopped the fight or let Usyk finish him off.
If your out on your feet and the ropes are keeping you up then you get a standing count it's basically saying if the ropes haddent been there you'd be laid on the canvas for the count anyway.
The ropes held him up mate, itâs a legit call. I did think it should have been stopped before that though.
Heâs eyes were rolling he could have got badly hurt heâs a big guy the ref was right to pause for a sec what you want him to die before a count?
@@Bswithjay No. I'm not saying that. I'm saying the ref should have stopped the fight there and then. Hearn makes a big play that Fury didn't hit the canvas. As someone else said he only didn't hit the canvas because the ropes were keeping him up.
My issue with it is here was held up by the ropes twice in that sequence but the ref let it go until he saw Usyk was about to KO him the next time it happened then decided he would jump in and do a count
Usyk won the first 3 rounds and the last 5 rounds
Fury isn't past his best. He has been boxing mediocre fighters for a long time

@@t.d6379 Yes
@t.d6379 he won the first 3 and it wasn't even close.
For anyone to think Fury won 5 of the first 6 round is ludicrous. Usyk won 1,2 and probably 3. He then won every round after round 7 including a knockdown. From 4-6 Fury had this fight in the bag and should have stopped Usyk but in all honesty the pace Usyk set was just too much for Fury to gamble on trying to get him out of there. Don't get me wrong Fury show absolute quality during those middle rounds and frankly I was blown away but some of the stuff he was doing, but Usyk mentality is unbelievable. Imagine prime Usyk vs prime Holyfield.. In terms of guts and fortitude it would be an absolute classic.
Usyk won minimum 2 if not 3 of the first 6 for me. So happy he won

How could one judge give the fight to Fury. Boxing judges must explain their decisions to a boxing panel and never be allowed to judge a fight again if found guilty. Big money is corrupting boxing.
Some rounds were very close
Spot on mate that is absolute corruption
Thereâs been many corrupt decisions in boxing but this is not one of them! It was a close fight and rounds are subjective. FURY looked good first half of fight. Right man won on the night. Big respect both men

Ref should have let Usyk continue fighting in round 9 or declared a stoppage. Also gave waaaaay too long in the count then the bell went not long after.
Cracking fight. Best version of Fury Iâve seen. His powers of recovery are incredible. Usyk was the clear winner and massive congrats to him. Letâs have it again in October!
Exactly how I scored đŻ
Thatâs 2 rounds
Take the knockdown and the he had to take off afterwards it was a close fight
I had it 116-111 to Usyk
This is not the best version of Fury, but not the worst one either. He seems to be on decline. His feints no longer confuse opponents like they used to (even Ngannou wasn't bothered), and his defensive awareness is nowhere near the level of Klitchko-2016 fight or Wilder-2018 fight. Still a close fight. Fury maybe has a couple top-matches left in him, afterwards I think he should call it a career.
Imagine ajs bombs landing on fury if he's rocked like that

@@t.d6379 no just has more experience so naturally better. But that's irrelevant. AJ hits harder
@@thatguy2.09AJ gets hit more though heâs good not great
I thought thesame. AJ's right hand if he let it go would have sent Fury to his retirement
That's if AJ can land them though. It was Usyk's insane hand speed that had Fury in trouble there.
Iâm not a Fury fan but credit to both on the performance especially Usyk. I thought Fury was going to cruise it but well done Usyk. Thought fury could have handled himself better post fight
Yeah casuals and luke fan boys did think luke had a chance đ L
Some fighters don't make good losers, especially when they've little to no experience of it. Pacquiao comes to mind. It is a shame though. Joshua had his moments too, throwing belts and such. It is often a champion's moniker. Well, two champions have now fallen to the new king. If Wilder hadn't fallen off a cliff, it would've been nice for Usyk to collect all three scalps, but at this point, there seems no point. So its either one more ridiculous payday for Usyk, or ride off into the sunset having achieved his career goal. He earned it.

The scorecards weren't as close as they said, Usyk won comfortably. Shit fight but that was cause of Fury. Usyk was moments away from flooring Fury, until the ref saved Fury.
So good seeing Fury lose, and then lose his head, thinking he won. The whole Fury family are clowns. The rematch will be even easier for Usyk, Fury can't cope with him. If Fury ever fights AJ, he will get slept no problem, AJ would destroy Fury.
I doubt it, but I hope Fury is held accountable for saying things like Usyk only won because he got extra points for the war in Ukraine. AJ had an outburst and got slated for it, but he never came out with such insults. Also Fury said happy new year LOL!

Usyk has been criminally underrated and should go down as the man of his era. I cant pick a fighter that beats him or even a fight that is remotely interesting or competitive.
Usyk is not one of the best fighters in our generation, he is one of the best fighters ever.
Also it's comical Eddie saying Joe cordina has to move to 135 when just before the fight he was saying Joe needs to stay at 130 as he has no worth at 135.
How does a guy with a 6 inch height difference and an 85 inch reach spend most of the fight on the ropes, crazy imo but all credit to Usyk for putting on that amount pressure during the fight just edged it
Because you need distance to use that reach advantage and if your smaller opponent isn't allowing that then there's nowhere else you can go but back.
Because Usyk is the Goat of boxing
I agree. Especially when he was clearly winning when he was coming forward with those long bodyshots and uppercuts. If they rewatch that they will see the changes needed in the rematch. he wins coming forward.
People go on about height and reach, but timing is so much more important if you can use it. Usyk has rewritten the rule book

Hearn's version of Fury 'controlling the fight' obviously accepts all the measuring he was doing to blind Usyk with his gloves, which is illegal. Fury low blows also went unpunished. He found his rhythm by the middle rounds but it all went out the window in the 9th. Usyk's work in the clinches was outstanding and he had the answers to everything. The best man won.

Eddie speaking absolutely truth Tyson Fury fight very well and that uppercut nice
It should be clear to any boxer thatâs studies tape - Usk when he is heart he comes forward to hide it. Usk also drops his head a lot when throwing overhand lefts - thatâs why the uppercut is effective on Usk.

Eddie never said that in last interview straight after the fight he said fury walked it đđ aj does fury amd usyk wont ever get beaten hell retire undefeated đŻ
Usyk definitely took the first 2 rounds. Fury then took control until Usyk splattered his nose in the 8th. Then the 9th, Bambi was all over the place giving Usyk a 10-8 round. Usyk then was in control because Fury was scared of throwing and leaving himself open after nearly behind sparked out. Split decision was the correct call and the right man won.
Happy to see Hearn give fury credit . Big up saying he had the first 6 . Surprised me there
Fury won the middle rounds, and one late round. Itâs what every Usyk opponent does, they get frustrated at the start, so they gas themselves out to win some middle rounds.
Usyk is almost unbelievably good
Credit to Hearn. Think his analysis was about spot on. People cloud their judgement when they dislike someone
Credit to both, a fantastic, highly skilled fight. Fury's heart is incredible. Usyk is p4p #1 and this era's number 1 heavyweight
Usyk clearly won. Tyson boxed well but used wrong strategy. He had size and weight advantage to use against Usyk, but he thought he could outbox him. He went for a slugfest punch for punch and he was outsmarted. He had the wrong playbook and had all the advantages to win. Usyk won fair and square.

The ref shouldn't have stopped them in round 9, unless it was because Fury was totally gone. Had he let Usyk carry on... Fury would have been on the canvas! The ropes are the only things that saved him as he was stumbling around in round 9. Should never have been a round 10.

I had it exactly like Hearn said, someone who is actually speaking sense . Usyk came out like crazy in the 7th/8th to change the momentum of the fight. Fury then struggled to win any rounds. Crazy his fight is unreal

Usyks violated the heavyweight division đđ
Eddie say he don't know how Fury survived the ninth round, really it so obvious the referee stop Usyk from battering him and ask him if he's OK
I donât really think Usyk can go down as one of the best âheavyweightâsâ of his generation. How can someone with 6 heavyweight fights be the best of his generation, where is the longevity at the weight, heâs beaten AJ twice and a very close fight with Fury.
Hasnât fought half of the top 10. All respect to Usyk, one of the greatest for sure but best heavyweight of the generation is a stretch.
Styles make fights, AJ didnât want to engage or get hurt, Fury left it all out there and came up a little short.
Iâd like to see him in against other top heavyweights before classing him the greatest
I'm somewhere in between Hearn and Joshua; I gave Usyk the first 2, then 4 for Fury, then everything else for Usyk (except maybe a draw for the ninth). That judge who had Fury ahead at the end needs watching!
