What’s happens in 2k:
Everyone is above an 80 overall, players that are good retire because they don’t have a job even tho they are like 27, everyone is on a max contract, and every team is -50M
Yup. Takes a lot of work to manually fix all that shit it's so annoying. Plus 100 guys will have 99 over 3pt rating, every young center is an 82 ovr after 2 years, and there will be 3-4 centers on every roster making 10+ mil.
2k doesn't give a shit about my league. It's awful. Sims fall apart after 2 years without major manual editing.
20 new undrafted players a year with 90+ ratings on shooting and defense. Happens every years.
Also every center averages 10+ rebounds with good centers averaging 18+ and no one else in the game besides centers get the rebound numbers they should. Broken ass game.
The thing is with simming that IMO as unrealistic as it sound right now I think this could be close to how it progresses over time. The last 3 draft classes have been pretty deep in talent and I think this is a trend that only continues. With expansion of g-league as well to keep in mind, I do think 2k should fix some things in regards to the salaries but progression wise it’s my opinion it’s surprisingly accurate
It's not fun anymore making rebuilds in 2k because in about 3 years not a single team has cap space
