This guy is lvl 99 Ableton.
no level 1000
Mike Devey over 9000
I am still waiting for an asian guy to appear better then him
@@prod.fimamaru Your comment is funny simply because it is 100% factual. lol
but he has also prestige 99
the fact he knows his equipment so well to make his physical workspace look so minimal is remarkable and should be something to emulate. Im jealous.
Bill is hands-down one of the coolest and most caring producers out there.
I'm a simple man. I see Mr. Bill, I hit the like button.
57ashdot it ain’t much, but it’s honest work
Thats some seriously clever shit. Love how max opens it up to make it easy for people to invent the ways they want to make music.
And perform !! Max is the shit honestly
wow. mr bill always on some new technique
This is amazing, thank you for walking through this!
Dude...nice! So helpful to see this setup and what's possible with the Twister and Ableton. Thanks Mr Bill!
This is brilliant! The best Mr. Bill tutorial I've seen.
MINDBLOWING, this is absolutely brilliant, DEFINITELY applying this in my live sets FOR. SURE!
Thanks for sharing with us really nice and useable stuff
This was so helpful!! Thank you
good work king, love you
crazy stuff. Like it!
Great work!
THAT WAS SO COOL. YOUR MUSIC IS AWESOME
Thanks for the info Mr Bill/Techtools
This is so, so, SOOOOO excellent! One of these days, I’m going to do it with my live looping. I’ll have to watch this about 20 times until I get it.
GregLuceMusic yeah lol its confusing
So will I. BTW have you implemented it? I'm working on follow actions stuff with Push2
That's a really nice setup.
The crossfade king. Sweet techniques!
thanks a lot!!! so nice reverb
Ok I need to sit down with you and talk about the first 3 minutes of the video for 8 hours and then we can move on. Outstanding Mr Bill!!!!
That looks like a lot of fun
Damn this the type of workflow i neeeed
Respect, Mr Bill

Ableton is cool allowing people lots of creative flexibility 💪🏼
Works well!! DANKEEE
ok mr bill im sold
My god... What a virtuoso... Not my style at all, but the way he performs, i respect that and would love to have his skills, his smoothness. Overall interesting guy...
I really like that music he was doing
Awesome!
Thanks so much
I need to train with this guy!!
my head hurtz!! good vid tho fam! looooveee
13:23 that fader never stood a chance. RIP
This is so cool and so over my head, but nice
Sick!
I watch this once every year
Dig that tippery idea✌🏼
So cool :)
good intel mate
This is all sorts of slick. Nice work!
Damn, you broke the cross fader half way through. Good thing there was a back up haha
not my kinda style but the fact he was ripping of his crossfader cap at around 13:20 and still beeing able to do his thing witout the listener noticing had me.
I'm pretty sure he's had that happen to him before :D
Lol it happens it's an easy fix just a tiny piece of tissue will fix it
The equivalent of a drummer dropping his stick and pulling out another without missing a beat!
HE THREW IT ON THE GROUND!!!! Lol
haha, I just noticed that
Cool 😮
Damn, finally found video I need to watch 5 times to understand
so cool! and so gratuitous!
I have no idea what he is talking about and I wish I did
Peter Caldwell I do and I applaud his patience to do this!!
Same I’m super lost
Champion
Would you recommend a few videos on working more in depth with Simpler?

Hello Bill thanks for this vidéo ! I have buy this fantastic template but just I have a question … to use correctly with the midi fighter twister what should I do to the mapping with this template ! Normally do it work automatically ? Thanks for your answer
So any updates to these mappings? Your buddy still working on them any links for download of any midi fighter 3d mappings for Ableton, thanks. Enjoyed the video you're doing things differently I like that.
Mad Zach was scratching a on a noise_filter, you can do this aswel in simpler/sampler with transpose.
Monster!!!!!!!!!
bro thats fucking sick! brilliant
Are there any updates for his slice mode technique in Ableton 11? Thinking about picking up a midi fighter for this but was wondering if there’s an updated workflow and setup since things have changed in ableton since then.
13.23 ~ The Cross Fader decides to dump all the available jet fuel and whiz off into outer-space (Probably under the table). Meanwhile Mr Bill continues to Slice, Beat Mash and Scratch. Love this video!
goin hard @13:21 w that chroma cap smashing 👌🏼
Sweet! Are those compatible with the new Mac M1s?
you can make a crossfader with chains and Audio From + monitoring a compressor
Mr. Bill is God
First standing ovation I gave a youtube video.
This comment gave me autism :^D
Did you ever live in Shrewsbury?
dude your setup & how much you got out of it is really dope - thx for shari with us :)
i especially like the way of scratching ;)
Is it possible to do this with Push 2 and a Midi Fighter?
Well, what Mad Zack showed in that video wasn't exactly muting/unmuting the clips while playing with play position, what he was actually doing was more simple: he played clips with the pads like you normally do in a drumrack, and playing with pitch and filter in the encoder to recreate the effect. What you are doing is better in my opinion, more like actual scratching, just what I was looking for. You are a genius.
hi. what the name of small color controller? thank you
This is inspiring
God why did I have to watch this. I’m going to have to make one now. :(
how do you get to this level??
13:20 quality fader caps lol mine always get launched in to oblivion too
thanks bill boy your the shit
I been wanting to do this for a while, but instead of using global crossfade and manual slicing, using live audio pulled into chains via monitoring Audio From in compressors
Fucking rad. What an amazing human
I wonder how sweaty Mr. Bill got when he made 10.8 with deadmau5
It has to be the opposite. Mau5 probably had to pick back up the jaw he dropped after seeing Mr. Bill produce.
@@nervousneighbour Facts!
"i suppose..." .. gotta be the name of Mr Bills biography ..
whats the rapper rapping over the top of the beat? i know the beat is morko by mr bill
Why is that MF3D mapped upside down? And most importantly... how can I do that to mine? 🤔
this is voodoo shit. love it
this is fuckin sick.
How about a follow up with a focus on the hardware? Would be nice to see the hardware rack itself and the wiring.
they just plug into the computer
It's probably just a rackmounted computer. You can build a standard PC in a shallow depth server case. Notice how he's using a computer monitor and the USB leads from his controllers lead back to the case?
👍
oh it looks good but can you autreche with it? not in this video
what is the name of the song that starts at 0:20
really cool tech I always like "electronic artists" performing on stage rather than just pressing play
Simrasil a bit late but I’m pretty sure it’s “articulate this” by mr.bill and au5
i dont really understand how he makes the 16 midi clips taht he controls as a sequencer control "any" track that's playing? how is he routing all of those tracks to be controlled by that 1 midi channel?
fucking legend
By the way this can be achieved using python for ableton (without m4l), which I guess is more reliable. Even splitting the track into several clips will not be necessary
anyone know how to get a pc case like that???
