My cat mostly comes to sit next to us on the desk or wherever we are and meows cause he's hungry and if we dont pay attention to him he will litterally reach out to us slowly with his paw. Once we get in the process of getting his food ready and giving it to him each meow gets longer. Especially when we or the food get physically closer to him.

Cats only meow with their litter. That they do this with us and sometimes bring us their prey is a sign of them not seeing us on eye level or superior. So a) your cat is mute or b) she takes you very seriously and relies only on nonverbal communication with you.
