Essentially - a Management Consultant's focus should be split between these key areas:
1. Hear what's not being said, see what cannot be easily seen, read between the lines, and see the forest for the trees. Regardless of the stakeholders you're interacting with to extract such data, always be ready to use a complex set of tools to address the elephant in the room.
