Beautiful boat! Thank you for all the nice comments about my Vindo. Keep them coming!
Oh how I would love to sail this boat to the Azores and the Caribbean! What a wonderful vessel with vast amounts of character!
Thank you for including terminology definitions on all your videos. As someone who lives vicariously through your videos (and who doesn't himself sail) I find the definitions very helpful! Another great review, please keep em coming! :)
glad you enjoy them... there are plenty more to come! thank you
WoW thank you for opening a whole new world for me.
Great boat! I can say! I own the little sister Chassiron 38 an it's 8 year that give me nothing but joy! Down the biscay, through Gibraltar to Greece....just class
Thank You for the tour of a Beautiful Boat!
Oh yes, the French love their Dinty Moore! The art of good living! What a beautiful yacht!
This is the boat I would buy. Such a unique beautiful boat, loved and maintained. I hope she finds worthy owners.
What a beautiful home she makes! I’ll bet the owner has had many fine dinners with appreciative friends. Elegant.
The below deck really did look like a small well laid out apartment. Beautifully laid out and nothing beats good wood workmanship. Good episode.
Captain, I'm in love! Randay is right, spectacular is the only word that truly does this beautiful boat justice.
I'm glad to see little Seabiscuit is still hanging out with you and Sea Dog and getting into stuff!
It actually looks like an inviting kitchen to boot !
Me too. Thursday night, here on the fabulous North Coast of Northern Ireland.
That boat is fantastic. What a find guys. I don't believe that I've ever seen a better maintained, older boat. This isn't merely a boat. It's a lifestyle. And so ruggedly built too.
This is the antithesis of those tired old charter boats that have been flogged to death.
You would want to hand this boat over to her next owner in ten or twenty years, in exactly the state you found her. Bravo! Mes amis. Bravo! ;)
agreed... such a well-maintained beauty.... all other owners should take note
Getting my check book now. What a cool boat.
I choose to believe that Captain Q travels around with cases upon cases of Dinty Moore to every boat and leaves them behind afterwards as a calling card
A clear example of if a things worth doing its worth doing well.. it was built to stand North sea or the Med.. maintained and loved a little and she will outlast even a new boat....shes already kept her looks and integrity through two generations. Without enslaving her owner to constant refinishing.⛵💙
Such a unique beauty. Thank you!
Hello Thomas how are you doing. I believe you had a nice weekend and you are having a nice weather
Another beautiful gem, gentlemen. Thank you for showing us another winner.
She's a beauty! Lots of wood maintenance to keep up with! Wow but a beauty for sure!!
That’s a sweet boat
Beautiful, thank you for sharing your video's. Have fun together. ⛵⛵⛵
You have an excellent way of sharing your love of the sea.
Thank you very much!
Captain, please stay healthy.. your breathlessness has me worried. From Montana!!
Wow, what a spectacular vessel this is. Just gorgeous condition.
I fully agree with Ran-Day, that wood cabin top was stunning! Beautiful boat . Thanks for another great video!
agreed, David.... thanks for watching
Ok so great video but Cetol is not a one coat Finnish takes 5 or 6 more is better .
Nice boat. Great job showing it.
Hello Mark how are you doing. I believe you had a nice weekend and you are having a nice weather
"All the acoutrements...Coconut Oil..." I love Captain Q
No Name and Sea dog...man that brought back some memories...No Name..back in my College days- Calif Beach days our little group on the beach had a black lab show up one day we did not think much about it back in 1976 dogs were free to roam..he showed up the next day too no owner in sight all day...next day he shows up again I said well I am going to take care of him till the owner shows up we all called him No Name...week after week goes by no owner and I have let myself become attached to him and he to me he sits in the shade behind my beach chair me a 23 year old ex Navy dude going to college a hit with the girls....I thought so..all afternoon long at Avila Beach , Calif...movie 'Calif Dreaming " 1978 shows it sort of...I had a 1972 Dodge Van and my No Name dog he would carry in his mouth his can of dog food for the day as we walked out of the small Avila Grocery store down that beach front town sidewalk back to a nearby shack the tourist got a real kick out of that and when he would enjoy a Ice cream cone how he could hold that I still don't know all these years later...lol..he was my Buddy my dear Buddy Boy and we all started calling him by that name he would go for the early morning clean up walk with the Lifeguards and they said they liked him better than most people he liked them too because he would score kids half eaten hot dogs dropped in the sand , We were as one from then on out to his passing away many years later my Mother took him in at home in his last days and he lived a wonderful life with her and Pop ..regular meals..rides in Pops pickup truck...walks and runs..baths and his own bed..he was a wonderful dog and a great friend . I was not there for his passing away I just could not take it I was 800 miles away. But when I did get home he had been buried out on Mom and Pops home property and I went over and said my Sea You laters to my Old Buddy Boy...
Dogs teach us how to live life well and truly.
This looks to be a very affordable gorgeous vessel
This boat is a handsome old classic like the ol captain Q. Really enjoy these videos
Down the road from me in Cataumet! What a boat!! Thank you for sharing 💯
Wow- Now THAT's elegant! Tour De Monde is a winner from every point. Seaworthy after 45 years (dry bilge? WOW!) Beautiful woodwork in any direction- I'm in love!
Agreed!! absolutely stunning 🤩
well said!! 😍😍
@@YachtHunters I neglected to mention how French it is, but- a dry, fresh scented bilge is priceless- especially at 45 years young!
Just can't get enough of this superb vessel, would be perfect for my business. You have the best job Mr Q & Mr R, the highlight of my day is to sit with a coffee and enjoy watching you two having fun. Love it 👍🏴☠️🏴
Wow, thanks! It was dreamy... still a favorite that sticks in our memories :)
ConGtat yo for all the great music !!!!
RanDays the Musicman. But don’t expect 76 trombones
I did not know that I needed to subscribe to another boat-related channel. Thanks!
Same here! The list gets longer and longer
Another boat that, if it were 10 years from now, I would buy in a heartbeat. Thanks for sharing it, Captain and Ran-Day.
in 10 years this boat is done fiberglass hulls get brittle and micro fracture at around the age of this boat which is why they're selling it I'm sure. Especially a live aboard that has been constantly in salt water getting beaten by waves and exposed to UV. This is why he says when the motor reaches 10,000 hours get a new boat. They've dropped the price by $10,000. Fiberglass boats don't last forever and this one has about reached it's end no matter how brautiful the inside is. Would make a nice tiny home on the hard if properly supported
Interesting concept
Beautiful well taken care of boat. The owner is obviously very proud of her home. Thank you for letting us tour your home 🤝🤝🌷😊🇺🇸
They maybe should have called this episode their "two heads are better than one" episode.
My girlfriend and I absolutely loved the look of that boat ... and the fact a lady has been living on it for 20 years just made it more appealing - when people live on a boat they either keep it nice or it goes to pot, and that boat was nicely kept. Sea Dog and Pond Pup (my girlfriend's suggestion for name for the little-un) seemed very at home on it, and I know we could be too. If someone wants to buy a disabled sailor and his lovely girlfriend a boat for Christmas we'll gladly have that one thanks :) Proof you don't have to spend millions to get a nice boat!
All the best Captain (and Ran-Day) as we're loving your videos - they're the one channel we watch together, as soon as they come out! Have a great week fellahs :)
Hahaha we'll take a boat as well!! By the way jay, those names seem pretty fun 🤪
@@thatoceanvibe2058 You're welcome to any of the Captain's other great boats but there was something about this one we just fell in love with ... I've put a ticket on the lottery this weekend and if it comes up I'm buying that boat, first thing Monday morning :) There's nothing quite like a boat that's been lived in and loved, eh? It's the love that makes all the difference.
I just love this boat!
Hello how are you doing. I believe you had a nice weekend and you are having a nice weather
Beautiful! My Dad’s boat was named Raven too. It’s a sign!
How are you doing John
What a beautiful boat
Beauty! Thanks for sharing.
I love this boat, what I'm looking for just 9 months earlier than I can jump on it.
Magnificent boat
What an outstanding review and a decent effort at French. Merci!
What a beauty…. Gorgeous…. Thank you for sharing
At that price I am thinking it will sell quickly! It is a magnificent boat! I would buy it but then I would be able to sail on it for about 5 years and the money would be gone.
What a fantastic 5 years would they be though!!!
Thank you for this wonderful diamond amongst a handful of cubit zirconiums!!!
Truly a beautiful vessel!!!
why only 5 years?
@@sashachip because my money would be gone to continue sailing!
@@treywest268 are you retired?
Good luck to you both
Thanks guys for introducing me to this lovely Vessel. Really what a gorgeous & well appointed ketch she is.
Two heads are better than one. Why? “Because you always want one that will work.” 😂
That's what we call our second head, "the emergency head"!
This is very true. Especially more so if cruising away from backup services.
Or go compost toilet like most cruisers nowadays
@@professormoptop no pump-out fees, no plumbing to leak, clog or rupture, no internal holding tank full of foul, stinking sewage to leak or require expensive maintenance. All working parts visible, straightforward to inspect, and simple to maintain. Like a litter box for humans. Pretty darn cool.
This is a beauty. About 4 more years and I can start to shop for real and this is exactly what I've got in mind.
I want to appeal the vingt-et-un score Captain. I believe it should be higher, and I am sure little Dinty Paws agrees with me.:-)
Hello how are you doing. I believe you had a nice weekend and you are having a nice weather
Oh how I wish I was there instead of being in N. Italy! She is truly a beauty and so well equiped as well as her layout! So lovely!
She is a beauty. I've only got 4 more years before I can shop for my own. Let's keep in touch and I'll invite you out for a visit. That is if this covid nonsense is over with.
I Love the Boat!! Captain and would Love to meet the Lady who has lived/living on it, I will bet she is a real Jewel too. An 45ft Ketch rigged =Perfect for me.
you can tell a lot about a person by how they maintain their boat... she's a top notch sailor
I like this boat
love this yacht. i believe that the lady who owns her treated the vindo like a lovely summer home. . life is too short- this boat is for the refined crew that will bring her to new ports with elegance and grace.
cheers
What a lovely lady of the sea. That brand is now on my wishlist. Thanks for the introduction.
What a treat!
Gorgeous boat!!! And the condition is absolutely premo!!
Beautiful!!!
Thursday has taken on a new meaning, Its Capt Q and Ran-day .......day ...
we'll take it!! thanks, rick!
Beautiful
This may be the one, the one all other boats must compare
What a stunning boat! ❤️
What a beautifully maintained boat. Real class in the design. The French can do something right.
Another great vid you guys! Absolutely beautiful boat. A lot of nice aesthetic touches such as the mirror and the see through panes in the head.
That was the best boat sales video I ever seen or heard about! Excellent!
Gorgeous boat, nice headroom and looks very tidy and inviting
Beautiful boat inside and out, top to bottom. Love the wood throughout
Thanks for posting and sharing 👀🙂👍
Great find, Captain! Excellent episode.
“Two heads are better than one!”
A marvelous boat! Beautiful, well laid out, well built, and well kept. Thanks. Take care.
Even if I had one billion dollars, this is the boat I would buy. To me, it has class, refinement and all-over good taste. That gleaming wood, that spacious area below decks,, I could make her my home until the "Noseless One" came to claim me.
Your channel is absolutely addicting -
I have always been fairly simple and enjoy bilge keels for there ability to reach shallow bays for snorkeling!
But I have to admit a few of the old girls you have shown are definitely mesmerizing in there beauty. A true siren making any man loose there focus!
Beautiful boat !! I enjoyed your pick this week ! I believe this sailboat is priced right .
Another excellent find. Looking forward to you locating a pilot house sail boat. Wanting to travel the world and stay dry when the weather turns. Cheers
We just purchased a Bristol 45.5 this year, so Im not in the market for a new boat, but I so look forward to this every Thursday!
Hello how are you doing. I believe you had a nice weekend and you are having a nice weather
I'm hoping to someday be able to afford a used Sunfish. A man has his dreams.
As always gents; a great boat and a great history and description. Thanks!
Glad you enjoyed it
Beautiful boat. It's hard to believe it's forty five years old looking at that top deck and inside. For the price it's a steal.
I love how you love doing this. Brilliant stuff! 😍👏👏
Bravo Capitaine Q .Vous etes un artiste !!.
Love your show and learning from your vast knowledge of Yachting. This sweetheart is one of my favorites
French make my first Choi for Amel Thank for all the wonderful info
Wow, nice condition, beautifully kept up! Wonderful! 👍🌊🌬️
Right boat wrong time. She's a beauty
Awesome craft boys!!! Really beautiful!!!
So many nice boats on the market. There's a glut right now. Definitely a buyer's market.
She is a very rare boat, 50 feets chassiron, perhaps the only one! I am french and i have never heard of she. She is in incredible condition. At the origin chassiron boats were made in totality in Wood . The price is very sheap for this quality of construction !
she is just a beautiful vessel to experience... thank you
Lots of wood to care for, but oh so beautiful!!
I am in love. With the boat. Et je pourrais probablement être amoureuse d'elle aussi.
New life goal is to own one of these boats. Just beautiful!
Hey Cap'N. Nice to see you both on the water. Love your videos, a wealth of information. Thank you both so much and please keep up the good 👍🏴☠️
We can’t wait to get back out there… seems like it’s been a loooong winter here. Hopefully soon! Cheers, Geraint!
Amazingly beautiful boat! Priced decently as well. If it were closer to me I’d be all over it. The current owner has taken great care of it.
Thanks for the tour Cap’n & Rand-eye.
Lovely wooden yacht! Ever since I bought mine, I can't help but appreciate and fawn over well maintained wood! I also relate to Raven's owner, also living aboard my vessel and I plan to keep doing so, hopefully for that long.
You are a rare and important breed.... we need more people like you in the world!
Great Episode Captain Q, Ran-day, Sea Dog and Schatz. I thoroughly enjoyed this episode especially Ran-Days Bridesmaid veil and his excellent videography skills. Tres bien. Bon nuit et dormi bien!
woo what a stunning boat 🤩
Cheers.
Thank you. Great boat and you guys rock!
