Tbh I know Deku is being super confusing and seemingly unreasonable in his expectations for Bakugo as his fiancรฉ, but if you think about it a little bit more it makes sense why heโs behaving that way. Bakugo is an asshole and sure heโs making an effort to change and be faithful to Deku, turning down admirers and not accepting gifts of affection, but Deku keeps telling him off for one thing or another. It might just be a mirror of how Bakugo treated him for a really long time. Nothing was ever good enough, no matter how hard Deku tried, Bakugo never thought it was enough. In a way having Bakugo reach the point of โWHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME?!โ Is exactly how Deku has felt from Bakugo for years. Deku is jealous under the surface, because Bakugo is popular and desirable, he doesnโt want people to constantly be confessing their love and giving him gifts, but he also doesnโt want Bakugo to be mean and become undesirable. Their marriage was also arranged without their consent so Deku is probably being a little shit about it cause heโs mad he doesnโt get to choose who he marries, and having the guy who constantly told him that he was never good enough he his fiancรฉ probably didnโt help matters.

Especially when bakugou said hes gonna follow his advice to please him ๐ ) i kind of find it unreasonable deku is acting this way in a situation they both have no control of (since its arranged) i would honestly find it cute that even if my supposed partner is acting that way, at least hes not flirting with anyone when hes already engaged. Not to mention make an effort to change how he does things when i find it unpleasant. Really hope deku would come to his senses soon that this is not the way to act if you wanna keep your man-

The similarity is that both party want the other to please them while they act as if they dont care about the gesture (the other having s hint of jealousy that his partner decided to be nicer to his admirer despite the fact hes the one who suggested for him to be that way) im glad the community has gone a long way from it was before with the stereotypes. Often than not kids imitate or are influenced what they think has a good outcome, whether its good grades, habits or even attitudes. Before, many people have fallen into the thinking that acting this way is "cute" (i, too have thought of it before) and while its okay to an extent, some take it too far with the insults. Resulting to rejection and hurt on both sides without meaning to. I can say the same to the yandere stereotype, oh boy what a chaos it was when the first yandere was arrested in real life. Some people even wanted her to be free because it was "cute" she would kill someone for her love, some even admired her and wanted to court her. Im glad creators nowadays are careful with this types of videos, often putting warnings and often making the characters react appropriately (unless theyre both insane -) to the killing. Often kids watch this videos and find positive comments about how the character acts, they would think nothing is wrong if they act the same since people liked it and perhaps it would work with their crush too. Videos that has fandoms are what i find most acceptable like yours, since most viewers are aware of the characters and their way of interaction since they are a fan. Knowing their canon attitude it would be easy for them to determine where the characters are ooc for entertainment only. Sorry for the long explanation ๐ i just wanted to point out where my worry comes from and how happy i am creators like you care about their viewers, especially how their content may affect them in a way the creator didnt intent to.
