  • The CCFL tester is a small powers source for general application in this kind of lamps. It is easy to use, but it requires a correct connection procedure. It saves a lot of time in troubleshooting and testing in LCD television.

I took apart a Visio tv and found that the backlight for the LCD was CCLF tubes, and idk why but I was damn well obsessed at that point, I never knew what a CCLF was, but now I do today, and that shit is amazing

I made the same test for a bunch of ccfl lamps. The result was that I 've got light for all of them but not in all the length! The lamps lit only by the half! Do you know why? Maybe the power supply... 9v 330mAmps???

Hi! It is better to refer it to the lamp's datasheet. This kind of tester are made to do not be enough, just to make to light a little most of the common lamps used in 10" to 17" screens.

@@bob.kalpon1398 Hello, that tester it seem working even with CCFL lamps from a 19" screen. i have a monitor LG flatron W2042T and it turns on for a moment, the power led stay on, i replaced the inverter transformer but no change, i tried with two good lamps tested with that lamps tester and are ok, connected to the LG, still same issue, so i don't get what is the cause, it can be the power board or even the video/main board? what i have to check?
