    Another terrific sermon from Greg Laurie. Biblical and to the point is what we all need to hear. It is so sad for those who mock God and curse Him. Unfortunately, a lot of the times this can be the fault of professing Christians who act in a manner that is contrary to what the bible teaches. I am a Christian but have had bad experiences of other professing Christians who were no more holy than those who are non-believers.

    Sir, The winner takes it all, the winner is the truth of GOD, if HE dies...is the truth of GOD, moreover, if he lives..., life and death become the truth of GOD, then he is saved by His truth, Amen 🙏morning

    I find it interesting that so many pick out one thing that they have read, or usually heard from others, in the Bible that they find contradictory, based on man's wisdom, and site it constantly as so horribly wrong...such as God ordering the death of men, women and children. God created all people, He has the right to do with them as He chooses. And yet, they miss the most important thing....salvation for all mankind through the grace and mercy of Jesus Christ.

    @tjf5183 Well said. The reality is that the atheistic philosophy is indeed a most confusing one. They know what is right and wrong as opposed to what is legal or illegal. As the bible says, the knowledge of God is written in their hearts but they choose to ignore Him. "The fool saith in his heart, there is no God". (Psalm 14:1-3)

  • @yupyup1562

    Part 2. God is just and judges righteously and has to judge man's disobedience/sin also. Because of sin man will go to hell also unless he has the cover of salvation through Christ. God gives man the choice. He has outlined the two paths clearly again and again and the consequences of both, but it is up to man to choose.

    The Lord told me FG was going to live and NOT die and publish the Works of the Lord months ago. You and I know by the WORD of God that nothing is hidden forever...God will only be Glorified by the absolute Truth of this matter instead of trying to deceive and so many already know so it won't take long...I of course want him to live but I believe God wants him to as well and his destiny is incredible.

    Why does God dole out hell? Why do you refuse God? God created man.Man turned from God,sin entered in.Sin separates man from God.There is only one cure for sin. That someone,Jesus,God in the flesh,become that sin, pay the price,the punishment, death on the cross then resurrection,opening a way for man to be reconciled with God. Man must accept the gift of Salvation.

    I wish this guy would talk to the ministers of the churches that are claiming to be Christian
    that our Canadian leaders say they belong to.both fed and provincial.
    When I see them don the clothes of other religions "out of respect" to garner votes,
    My heart breaks as they put another god before the one true. I see a golden calf and a fall from grace.

    God warns of sin and the consequences and offers the free way out. It is up to each person to accept it or not. There is no other way. Sinful man cannot enter into heaven and therefore will go to hell and then the lake of fire.

  • @yupyup1562
    @yupyup1562 Před 12 lety

    Part 1. God does give man the choice, it's called free will. It's difficult to understand because you are looking though the eyes of the world for the answer. As a child your parents told you that you could either disobey and do what is wrong or listen and obey, and explained the consequences of the two choices, is that 'mobster mentality and not a choice?'

    You can read your bible a thousand times and it won't do you much good other then teaching you some moral guidelines (God's principles do work if you understand them). The only way you can really understand it is with the help of the Holy Spirit. The only way that will happen is if you step down off your own thrown of ego and submit to God by accepting the gift that you've been given through Jesus Christ. Until you do that, you are merely blinded by the god of self, professing christian or not.

    @garethac81 I would like to be schooled about my beliefs. What verses talk about murder, rape and keeping slaves and why are they in the Bible?

  • @yupyup1562
    @yupyup1562 Před 12 lety

    Knowing that you are not spiritually discerned, I tried to find something of this world that was similar of which you might understand, hence the parents analogy. I guess it wasn't a good choice for your understanding.

  • @Bowzer19
    @Bowzer19 Před 14 lety

    @garethac81 thing is that you've not read it correctly as with such atheist's you take one scripture and use it as absolute?? when you look at Ezekiel chp 8-10 God's judgement HIS glory shows up & those who have cause his wrath to come upon them...He doesn't command Christians to do this today as its an eg of His Glory and judgement at those who are falsely worshipping Him, you miss the point of these scriptures, you seem to have ''come up with'' this means God wants us to kill everyone?!

    There is nothing I could do that my parents would force me to spend an eternity burning in hell. And why does God dole this out??? For not believing in him.
    If you're going to use the parents analogy, you need to think it through a bit more. God is as hopeless as he is invisible.
    Here is what is immoral to me: Raping and killing someone, then repenting right before death, then going into heaven. How is that punishment?

    Jesus is the ONLY Way? Is that true and what Jesus says...?
    Read Matthew 7:21 Not every one that saith to me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the Kingdom of Heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter.
    Also read Luke 13:23-27 where someone asked Jesus if only a few people going to be saved? Jesus say many will fail.
    Read above two verses spoken by Lord Jesus Himself & u know what Jesus says and what Paul says.

    I was raised spiritually, and have thankfully come to my senses. The parents disciplining their children analogy is a weak one.
    What could your child do that you would burn them in hell forever? If you say, "That they don't believe in me," I would say that you are immoral.

  • @yupyup1562
    @yupyup1562 Před 12 lety

    Every person must make the choice, you have made yours.I hope you will change your mind. As I said the analogy is a good one but wasn't for you.You are really stuck on being sent to hell to burn forever.You have ignored what I wrote on this, so it won't help to answer your question nor to explain further.I am here looking for those who need to hear the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ, & answer a few questions as best I can. You have made your choice clear so I am off to reach others.

  • @yupyup1562
    @yupyup1562 Před 12 lety

    Yes, raping and killing is immoral. I doubt that anyone leading this lifestyle up to the point of death would care to understand his sin, repent honestly and seek forgiveness. But with God all things are possible. You feel he should be punished for his crimes, what about your crimes.You use what's considered to be the worst of crimes as an excuse of your own sin.You are a sinner. The world sees the law in levels, bad and worse. God does not. Breaking His law is sin, the punishment is hell.
