This is something I noticed fast in productions. But many people who want to ride the wave don't usually do. They mimic the pattern of kick and clap but don't really listen to the difference with sub, kick, and snare changes in verse and chorus, and then the breakdowns and bridges change. But a clear ID is really different pattern verse Vs chorus. perfect video to highlight the foundation of this.

Sometimes. but not all the time. It really depends how how the drums are sitting in the mix bc pitching them up or down can change which frequencies they occupy in the mix
