ted GOP Elena put herself before all, They are linked for a reason, Matt and Caroline also have lost. They were friends in the beginning Elena and Matt were high school sweethearts. As for Stephen and Damin think about what happened to them that lead to them becoming vampires...together they all defeated every obstacle including The Original family.
True, Elena, Matt and Caroline have some moments too. But.... I still thinking that she did too much hahah. Every thing is because of: Elena. being the anchor: i was like girl,enough! lost her powers,more than once, she had been stuck in a prison with Damon.... then alone with a psycho guy who tortured her. The worst is : "as long as you live, she will sleep"....
ps: I love the show. I love the characters. I looove Nina Dobrev ^^ it's just how I feel about Bonnie.
None of them knew anything and because they are friends in the beginning I believe they are the key to the ending. I have all 7 seasons and I love it as much as The Twilight Saga....watched them over and over, all Bonnie has lost I believe she will have true happiness as well as Caroline, Elana, and Matt, where the story began

I cried when that happened. I was rooting for Bonnie and Enzo. Just when it looked like they both would have a happy ending, the writers just had to screw them over, yet again. Especially Bonnie.

Rewatching the show it is SO obvious the show runners hated Kat. They screwed over Bonnie at every turn and clearly only kept her around because the fans love her. Kat and Bonnie deserved to be treated way more they are both so genuine and sweet.

Yup you’re absolutely correct! She never wanted a POC on her show, but it wasn’t gonna get the green light until she casted a POC. So she casted Kat, and every single time she tried to kill Bonnie off, she wasn’t able too because if she did then the show was gonna get canceled. Then it got point where Ian threatened to leave if she tried to kill Bonnie off again, so she stopped tryna kill her off and started killing off all the people Bonnie had feelings for🤷🏽♀️.
They should’ve done a spin-off with Kat as the main character.

Caroline just got done talking about Damon and Enzo being the two people closest to Bonnie, so Stefan just buried himself. Damon lived 145 years without Katherine, then a planned 60 without Elena, and Stefan tries to dwindle his time down to a year so he can be with Caroline. He couldn’t even handle three years, he was trying to see Caroline at Liz's grave - which was every bit how Matt’s fiancee died. He literally flipped his switch, turned himself into a monster to be with his girl within a year, and questions why Damon became a monster waiting for Katherine for 145. Now he knows.

I agree with you, but a big part of the awesomeness of that scene was not only because of the brilliant acting, but also great choice of music and camera angles to make his entry into the house so dramatic, it was almost epic! One of my favourite scenes, hands down. The only thing that saddens me is that Stefan and Bonnie both were the characters who always sacrificed their own dreams and happiness for the sake of others. Both longed for a quiet, peaceful ”normal” (whatever that means) life, yet they constantly got dragged into new ”deals” and dramas. But that’s life, unfortunately. It’s always the good ones that pay the price. And before anyone pipes up telling me Stefan has done many evil things as well, yes, I’m aware of that and I’m not trying to excuse that. The bad deeds are the reason why he sacrificed himself in the end, paying the ultimate price to atone. I was happy that his sacrifice turned out to be redemptive in the end, his ticket out of hell, so to speak, so he could find peace and happiness with Lexi in the afterlife. I always liked the two of them together, it would’ve been nice to see more of them than just a handful of scenes.

I don’t understand why Bonnie didn’t bring Enzo back from the dead? I thought she could….. This just breaks me. I wish Bon Bon had everything she wanted. She never could because she gave it up so her friends and family could be happy 😭😭
Her magic was powerful enough to do it and Enzo’s spirit was in her dimension. But she just discovered her psychic powers here and was still getting to understand it and only got her magic back when she let go of Enzo’s spirit. So even if her magic came back, his soul was gone to Peace and you can’t resurrect anyone from Peace, unless you’re the Necromancer.
The other side is gone. It imploded when they got shoved into a prison world.

Enzo and Bonnie deserved better. After eight seasons of killing and reviving half of the cast, they couldn't bring Enzo back to life?. Bonnie was one of the most selfless characters besides Stefan (most part of the time) and she can't even spend the rest of her life with her true love. Characters like Matt for example were kinda unnercessary for me, he could have died seasons ago and they kept him alive till the end, like.... honestly, truly. And Elena and Damon, were lacking of emotion, Damon showed more love for Caroline or Bonnie than for Elena after an entire season of redeption and desperate need to get Elena back... I don't know, for me the final episode had a lot of highlights, but at the same time had me expecting more.

I felt like every character was necessary. I mean I agree with everything you said ESPECIALLY about Bonnie. However I felt like everyone had a place in this show, even Matt the only one manages to STAY HUMAN was a vital part of the show. He wasn't exactly as useless as you think. Matt did he best with his human potential to participate, he can cross the threshold and go into people's houses without an invitation, wolfsbane and vervain doesn't affect him, he's a cop and could likely help out cover up any supernatural activity from the human eye to help keep it quiet which provides use. What's special about Matt is that he was like the hope for Mystic Falls, a man who was exposed to the darkness of the supernatural and wanted nothing to do with it in the first place. He still lives in that world even though he's human with all that knowledge he has but he is living a human life at peace, planning to become mayor now that he realizes he has a legacy in this town with his family. Matt is the human life the supernatural would dream of even after going through all that hell in his life, especially with the lack of the support of his own family.

She wanted to give the cure to Enzo, but Damon says no, Enzo gets killed and sent to hell. And Bonnie uses the cure on Stefan. Bonnie never gets what she wants. Earl Roy Actually Damon didn't get what he wants exactly. Damon wanted to grow old with Elena. Now in order for him to do that he will have to take the cure from Stefan and it will surely kill Stefan. So he will have to kill his brother in order to grow old with Elena.
