One tip is if you don't get onshot but the punch them you can use glider and that sleep hat thing that heals you even if you don't have the hat you can stall In the air for a bit of hp.

another tip: USE DELICATE EGGS. these accessories are goated. basically what they do is DOUBLE YOUR PARRY WINDOW (at the cost of more damage taken), and best part is that THEY STACK... UP TO 5 TIMES!! even though they can stack up to 5 i like to use 2 and keep accessories for dps so you dont have to parry as much such as the combo glove, the mysterious charm, and the malady medal with aced bloodthirst, with patchwork so you hopefully regen some health after he's knocked down.
I have like 5 delicate eggs equiped and I still can't get more than half of his health 😭 At first it goes well but then my parries suddenly stop working and he spams his abilities which always kill me
Kai is really easy now.. Explanation: You can run from Kai by equipting a storm boots and you can easily parry the range attack that he use when you try to run even if he's mondo is really easy. Just parry the range attack and run just that easy!
I don't know if, this was written before Kai's rework, but now he bait you in phase 2, melee combo are instant and you can't run away, overhead now is not guaranteened after a melee combo and the best part? He literally will keep on stomping your corpse after your death, it's just impressive how a boss can go from fun and challenging to being annoying and unfair. He's still looks dope as hell tho.
I defeates kai 3 times and only soloed him 1 time and i his attacks were kinda easy to parry but tbh i keep getting punched because of the meteor rain + the lag is really annoying because the game just stops working for a split second then BOOM 0 hp just like that and i also need the martial headband thats the only thing missing so anyways thats all.

if you miss the damage taken also stacks so you get one shot by thieves
it's very hard to miss with 8x the parry window

A tip is to run away like a coward to force him to throw those blue balls, which are a free parry, until you learn how to parry it all
