I feel your pain mate, as a fellow retiree, I’d suggest you look into passive index fund investing and learn some more. For me, I had my share of ups and downs when I first started looking for a consistent passive income so I hired an expert advisor for aid, and following her advice, I poured $30k in value stocks and digital assets, Up to 200k so far and pretty sure I'm ready for whatever comes.

It's like that on every goddamn video related to trading and stocks and it's annoying, sometimes in general for other things people have useful info in comments or useful info that they discuss but on these vids it's nothing but bots 🤦🏽♂️
My advice to new investors: Buy good companies stocks and hold them as long as they are good companies. Just do this and ignore the forecasts and market views which are at best entertaining but completely useless.

Just found this channel and really like the content! Always knew about the 1-2% risk management of portfolio… but never knew the importance during drawdowns. I always thought of it as a psychological cap to keep your mind in the right state so you don’t get emotional by risking too much of your account. The problem is with 100$ and 2% R/R you can only buy $2 with of a crypto and in most cases the exchange won't let you buy so little. Could you explain how to go about this?
got me thinking too and $2 stocks can be kinda sketch I started with $15 and made my way up to $60 by using these strategies and lots others. It also depends on the company and how their doing, it depends how much you are willing to spend, and others. I try to look for stocks that will rise in price by a few dollars and buy shares there and its working out

I don't really care for those videos that tout, "How I Turned $10 into $1 million in Less Than A Week," because while it may be the exception, its not the rule. I like what you said about consistency in your trades and understanding Risk:Reward. When i first started out back in Novemeber 2023, I started with $750 to use in trading. To date, it is now $1350. I'd rather focus on winning and trading consistently than trying to go for "The Big Win." I really appreciate your videos for offering straightforward and pragmatic strategies, and leaving out the kerfuffle of making millions on a $10 trade. Your channel is a gem. 💎

great ideas imo (risk mgmt, consistent "base hits" vs home runs) but the examples given are pretty bad considering the given time allocated to the 2% rule and using a starting value of $100. i believe it would have been better to further explain the math around 5:32 and about how one might actually reach that targeted frequency of ~150 trades in a month in either a cash account or a margin account.

My issue with this is I’ve heard fees and commission can overwhelm you if your wins are not big enough , is a 2% return enough to cover all the fees of placing multiple trades
I wish i learnt most of these principles about seven years ago. A lot of people have been trapped strongly in the matrix-- Go to school, get a job, and then slave your whole life. Many miss out on life-changing information that could have great effect on their finances. I played with the stock market sometime in 2020, and I was surprised at how well it turned out. I want to put in $90k more into the market. I heard people are making really great returns despite the downturn.
Stocks are pretty unstable at the moment, but if you do the right math, you should be just fine. Bloomberg and other finance media have been recording cases of folks gaining over 250k just in a matter of weeks/couple months, so I think there are a lot of wealth transfer in this downtime if you know where to look.
The thing is that I really don't like making such recommendations. But there are many freelance wealth managers you could check out. I have been working with NICOLE DESIREE SIMON. for about four years now, and she's made decent returns. If she meets your discretion, then you could go ahead.

2% per trade and 98% just sits there unused?
It's because if you lose, you only lose 2% of your overall money. If you were to invest 10%, you can only lose about 30 or 40 times smtng like that, before you have a reeealy small amount, but if you were to invest always just 2%, you can lose hundreds of times. And considering that you won't lose every time, it is pretty good. Bigger professional traders sometimes use only 1% per trade. If they have $1000, the would only use $10. But you can also have multiple open trades, so it means you can have 50 at a time. Hopefully you understood me, english is my 2nd language

Nice vid. I love all three advises. aiming for 2% profits per trades gives a high win ratio, but you (and by you, I mean me) have to be very patient to be able to grow the account.
Guys, how to grow a small stock ammount... START TO WORK AND SAVE MONEY. After you have like 10, 50 or 100 grand you can start investing it and actually expect some returns. Invest in all world ETFs, it's safe if you have at least 15 years to work with and gives an average amount of 6% returns per year.

I think my biggest issue is how to manage trades without the ability to day trade. I don't have 25K lying around to make day trades. How do I use indicators to manage trades I must keep for several days before selling? I could buy at the end of the day and sell in the morning, but I'd run into the issue of not having settled funds in my account because Webull takes it's time to settle trades.

the problem with growing your small account is that you profit will be eaten away by taxes and charges and youll be at the same lvl or at some loss most of the time . i live in india so im saying as per my country regulation better swing rather than intra when growing a small account

So I agree that you need to wait for a candle to close above that line for a proper break out but I’m not getting in the trade earlier. You’re missing out on the potential that that thing could’ve run up to your take profit without ever coming back down to that Support and that means that a lot of traders miss out because they’re waiting on The elusive retest that doesn’t always happen
