Honesty, if push comes to shove, let latimore play this year and then let him walk next season. Put the tag on adebo and do not let him sign anywhere else. Put Kool aid in the slot and move Taylor back outside and in 2025 you'd have Taylor,Adebo, and Kool aid as your starters. That's still one of the best secondaries in the NFL
And let a top 45 pick play only a role as a dime CB? I don't see it. If we drafted both Alontae and Kool Aid in nearly top 40, I think you play Adebo & Taylor outside with Kool Aid in slot/competing for starting role. Taylor moves back to his natural position outside. Freed up money from Latt allows us to extend Adebo.
I like this, but I’ll keep Taylor in slot and have Koolaid on Outside
@@scoutwithoutclout ??? You literally just said what I said....
@@aaronlawson5915 not really. I'm saying trade Lattimore (i.e., don't wait a year) so we can resign Adebo. It sounded like you wanted to wait a year on Latt & tag Adebo.
@@scoutwithoutclout ahh, I got you. And yes, that is what I am saying.
I played scout team defense against adebo in high school my freshman year for his senior year. Just wanted to say that. Continue
I've been saying this since we selected Kool-aid. Adebo contract is up in 2025, Alontae in 2026, and Lattimore in 2027. Kool-aid will replace one of them if anyone of the 3 decides to go elsewhere for more money.
It’s awesome how we have all the options at CB
If Lattie stays we will have the best CBs in the league. Paulsen Adebo is a freaking stud!
The salary caps make it soooooo damn hard to put & keep a team together ..... i said yrs ago if the saints would have resigned Marcus Williams ( some kind of way ) they would have had one of the youngest best secondaries of growing & playing with one another . If the salary cap doesnt change or get fixed someone will leave either Lattie or Adeeeb hate to see The Who Dat Develop players only to let them walk
Why didn't GB keep the glue?
Good question . I assume age and regression but who knows …
Hope he's a team guy
Adebo could be. However, you have young talent at CB.
KoolAid is injured and young... Taylor is our/my guy... Lattimore scares me with his motivation... He is the MAN... but he has to be motivated.
Yea totally agree might have to let Debo walk ⚜️
That would be the biggest mistake since we let Hendrickson walk. Adebo was arguably the best player on the team last year. He's young, at an important position and he fits our D. Can't let him just walk for nothing.
Let him walk can't pay everyone
@@scoutwithoutclout Yes, that would be incredibly stupid. Adebo has been healthier and he's younger.
I would let Adebo walk, he's not that fast of a CB. If a WR has speed they will get behind him.
Adebo is gonna get a new contract almost like Lattimore.
I doubt it will be from the Saints
This secondary is so good best in nfl
Peat declined cause DA is a loser and he knows better. The Saints are a sinking ship.
So he went to the Raiders 😂
@louismatherne7522 yep,way better than playing for that loser DA. Duh...
@@lesforet4495 only loser here is you
New Orleans is a broke NFL organization and it's due to the front office juggling funds and kicking the cans. We can never keep good solid football players who already know our system and have chemistry with each other because they can't afford it. We lose players and the majority go off to do bigger and better things, or at the least; play for a better organization and team. They have to do better all around. Trade talks to get under the cap is negligence. Especially when it concerns one of your best secondary backs in the league. Do better Saints. WhoDat.
This holds weight after learning that they are behind 11 million in payments for the Super Dome renovations. Has me more than a little worried.
Peat has more value than Patrick & Penning he's a pro bowl guard and starting caliber Tackle. Big loss for the Saints
