Steelheart released their self-titled debut album in 1990. It sold 33,000 albums on its first day in Japan alone, and quickly hit platinum status. The ballad "She's Gone" which showcased Matijevic's wide vocal range hit #1 on the International Charts, staying there for 17 weeks.The ballad maintains its popularity in East Asian region until today. It has been played by most of the cover bands those performing in the nightclubs in this region almost every night.
The second single "I'll Never Let You Go (Angel Eyes)" reached #14 on the billboard charts, and was MTV's 2nd most requested video.The album reached #40 on the billboard charts. "Everybody Loves Eileen" and its accompanying video also garnered much success.
The song "Can't Stop Me Lovin' You" further showcased Matijevic's vocal range, but this time, lead guitarist Risola's guitar skills were also noticed. The accompanying video was another of the band's hits.

Hi Jamie! You are gorgeous. Miljenko still performs as Steel heart. He has had a lot of physical problems. He had a 1000 pound lighting fixture fall on him on Halloween of 1992. The have a acoustic version of she's gone on CZcams. Love your content!

First day finding you to the PERFECT song. Lead singer just goes by Milo. Ill Never Let You Go (Angel Eyes) is another great one. For 30th anniversary Milo redid song with his beautiful daughter.
Also we are VERY lucky to still have Milo. Matijevic decided to climb a lighting truss which was for some reason improperly secured. He failed to climb the rig and failed to dodge the 1000 pound piece of equipment, which hit him in the back of the head, driving him face first into the stage. The outcome of the accident was a broken nose, cheekbone, jaw, twisted spine, and severe memory loss. He is still recovering today but still performs.

I’ve noticed the same thing about reactors. It’s great to different reactions of the songs I love. But, it would be nice to see some deeper cuts being reacted to.

Steelheart was a bit too sugary for my liking but I would still listen just to hear Miljenko sing. He is a vocal god. By the way, there is a live acoustical performance of this song (with a few others songs) you can find it on CZcams. It's just him and one other dude doing the songs.
That’s a fantastic version and it shows his range and vocal control is real, not fixed by gizmos and gadgets and other trickery.

Tommy Johansson does a cover of this and he sings just as beautifully as Milli does and he's a lot younger.
