I LOVE this video! I am the same way when it comes to notebooks or books of shadows. I use one for each thing even though I am just starting out. I have a 2 inch binder that I use for research then I keep a journal for every "subject" that way I don't have to do that later down the road since I know I will anyways.

I have the red book I got from Walmart and I totally recreated it and I love it. its my first Book of shadows..but of course I need to get a new one so I can rearrange the order of things I did. but I like your books too.very nice.
The leather BOS you showed when speaking of buying a sister book is beautiful. I am not sure who done the first page that depicts the phrase Book of Shadows but it is very artsy and very beautiful.
Nothing wrong with having 17 or more BOS. I feel exactly the same way you do about having a seperate BOS or Grimoire for my Thoth Opening Of The Key rituals and spreads. One for my RWS style decks and spreads. A BOS for my one handmade taror decks and spreads for it. Then I have like 2 more for my herbs, herb spells, and herb remedies. I have a BOS for my astrology spells and constellation spells & magic. All my spells and magic have been handed down to me from 5 generations of my family. My great great grand father who was Irish was a witch doctor and I have his spells in a BOS then my grandma's father was a Bruja who owned his own magic shop in Mexico and had a talking raven. Anyways, I also pratice his herb spells and alternative medicines which I needed 2 BOS for. So I'm just like you and rather have this friend I know on Etsy who makes me these really awesome leather bound refillable BOS/journals in any color leather you want and she can encrest it with any crystals you want for 40$

That leatherette journal is the same book I have (except mine is black) 😄 Its the BEST book... Fun fact: when I bought my BOS I wanted black but all they had was brown. I bought it anyway because I just wanted to start. Less than a week later I found the black and bought it. Now, its not a waste at all, I have a "practice book" to test pages and things out on before it goes into my perfect BOS 😍 $20 is still less than most journals anyway, and I cant mess up!

I use coloring pages from coloring books and along with my artwork, I use a sketchbook that I get from a craft store it's more like a junk journal but I'm having so much fun I like your books =0)
Such a great idea to separate them. I did that with my herbs and spells . You are so creative and such pretty writing. I try to write in print and it ends up in cursive writing lol.
My book is has the old cloth type of paper. I don't separate my different stuff into books but I can see why you like doing it but I do like keeping the stuff organized together though when I write them in

I am not crafty either I found some nice paper on google I am going to print out and start my book of shadows as soon as I get some ink for my printer. I really am enjoying the research and practicing the craft. I found a protection spell I really like and say that every morning

I have a question, When you say that you'll pass your book of shadows on to your daughters and they'll pass it on to their daughters From my understanding your telling me that men cannot practice the craft I am not trying to disrespect you in anyway because I truly love your channel Its just you could've said I'll pass it on to my daughters and they'll pass it to there children Sorry if I sound rude that is not my intention
@@beccab2151 I was one of them she scammed me out of 500 and a lot of other people, She said my book was done and was on it's way this was four years ago then she tells me that she is trying to get books done but due to her brain surgery she is having trouble getting them done. So she took the money and ran but yet she can go to all these pride marches and such but can't work on books and get them sent out.
@@beccab2151 I reported her to etsy, their shop is no longer on there and they can never have one again, I reported her on facebook they can no longer sell anything on there, I reported her to the FBI cyber crimes for scamming, nothing as been done, she worked it so well that I can't get a refund through etsy, as they said that the time for refunds and chargebacks was over, this was 90 days past the time I was supposed to have gotten my book. So never buy anything from Andria Pettell, also known as Araida Pettell or Aiden Isaiah Lopez her husband/partner. Right now she is running or has a shop on Cafepress I am trying to have that removed, trying to teach her a lesson about scamming the witchy community.
@@beccab2151 Well some people call a Witchy Notebook different things a Book of Shadows is typically what it's called and is just more personal to what you believe it holds your Spells Personal Experiences and is a bit more personal than a Grimour; a Grimour is typically a vague overview of what you pass down through your family-line; and a Book of Mirrors is where I record dreams, tarot messages, meditation visions etc...
You hardly have any information in these books besides doodles. What's the point? Maybe focus on one until it's at least mostly finished before starting another
